Taylor heard the screech of the purple birds behind him, they were headed toward Jacob. The thoughts ran through his mind, like a pack of wild Jackals, "Why did I leave him there? I could have taken him with me. It should have been me! It should have been me! IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN ME!" as Taylor's eyes opened wide, and he repeated those five words in a quiet tone, over and over again, as the cold wind still brushed up against the soaring Falcon, it was silent, beep, beep, beep, The radar blinked with two small red dots behind his Falcon, a few Banshee stragglers, Taylor spoke into the microphone, notifying the back crew, "Alright, ladies and gentlemen, hold on to your hats, we got a couple gunslingers back here." as he turned the Falcon at full force, he slowly spun the Falcon 180 degrees, as the Two banshees began letting off bursts of bright blue plasma, the shots dented the hard-armored Falcon, as Taylor let loose the Falcon rotating gun on the left Banshee, as the bullet's pierced it's wings, the right wing shattered off, the whole side of the Banshee burning blue, as it began to spiral, crashing into the ground, the right Banshee still let loose on the Falcon, the bolts flew faster, as the glass cockpit the top of the glass cockpit shattered from the damage, Taylor turned to gun, firing on the head of the Purple menace, as it became ridden with holes, the occupant fired a slow, bright green ball of plasma, as it hurdled toward the Falcon, Taylor let the Falcon drop, as it narrowly avoided it, he quickly restarted the rotors, Taylor was now behind the banshee, and had the upper hand, he let loose one more volley of bullets, as the Banshee exploded in a bright ball, Taylor smiled, and continued to there Destination, finally, his radar turned back on, as a gruff, voice kicked in, "Falcon 4-33 please be advised, you do not have permission to enter this airspace, turn around, or you will be fired upon." as Taylor returned a reply to the man, "We read, we are soldiers, looking to enter the airspace, please confirm permission." as the man answered him, growing angrier, "4-33 we cannot let you in this airspace, turn around, or my guns will rip you to shreds!" as Taylor closed his eyes, and sighed, continuing the conversation, "We read you, but me and my men are going to enter... Would you really shoot a couple of true-blue soldiers, you know what it is like out there... Please." as the man sighed into the microphone, his tone changing, to a much, quieter, sadder tone, he ended the conversation, saying, "4-33 a squad will meet you at the front gate... Over and out..." as Taylor smiled, continuing down the mountain range, over the mountains, he looked below him, there it was, a large, airport, nestled in the canyon. Taylor slowly lowered the Falcon, on an airpad in front of the base, it was guarded, he opened the cockpit, stepping out, and walking by the left side, to his men, saying, "We made it guys..." as he approached the gate.

Tal' prepared his Phantom, as he held on to the sides, along with his Silver SpecOps squad, the doors of the ship closed as the Phantom detached itself from the cranes holding it in the hanger, and exited, behind it, several seraphs, and many banshees, guarding the ship, as it approached the atmosphere, Tal' put his alien radio near his face, saying, "Battlegroup Torus, how is the distraction going?" as the radio answered with interference, "We are moving in Holy One, we should be able to keep their ships busy." the confident Jackal said, as the audio cut off, the Tal's guardians separated off to help the Battlegroup, as the Phantom landed near the ruins of the forerunner architecture. He ordered one of his guards to block aerial view of the ruins by the elite's ships, as he spoke again into his radio, to the elite he was helping, saying, "They have destroyed the great ruins, it is already too late, but we can avenge the great Forerunners, by not stopping here, friend." as he cut off his radio transmission, ordering a SpecOps elite to shoot the detonator, as Tal' rushed to the phantom, escaping just in time, as the ruins exploded. Tal' transmitted back to the elite, as he continued, "Look for yourself, what the pitiful humans have done."

Taylor was frozen, staring at the injured man in front of him, he remembered how Jacob saved him, and how Jacob was one of his only friends on this now destroyed planet, he could see Red dots on his radar, Phantoms, Banshees, Seraphs, they were fast approaching the mountains, as hunters, to snuff out the last lights of resistance, the Covenant wanted something, it snapped in Taylor's mind, but the sheer shock of everything had a huge effect on him, he wasn't thinking straight, as he closed his eyes for several seconds, and stopped thinking at all, he knew what he had to do, he put his hand out, to shake Jacobs, as he said to him, "Give em' hell, Jacob." as he smiled at his friend, a tears still massing from his red and swollen eyes, he sucked it up, in a ball of emotion hidden deep within him, and only nodded, he pulled the Dog Tags off his neck, and placed them in Jacob's hand, as he said with a smile, "I won't need em' anymore... Good Luck. Oh, and one last thing, We should get together sometime." as the tears continued to sway down his face, he loaded up the Falcon quickly, as he yelled, "Everyone on-board, we are heading for the frigate." as he walked towards Ashley and John Murphy, ordering them in a quiet tone, "You two, on the guns. Don't fire unless they fire first." as he rushed into the cockpit, strapping the leather seat-belt on, as he clicked the dashboard, starting it in a green glow, as they lifted up into the cold air, Taylor noticed something, the sun finally shone in through the clouds, it was morning, he looked down at Jacob, as he lifted his right hand, saluting Jacob, and moving towards the far end of the outskirts. The enemies didn't seem to care about them, yet. They were focused on the ground, there must have been more survivors.
-
Taylor's smile wiped from his face, he looked like he was about to cry, like his best friend was just pulled away from him, it felt like when he watched his wife die, he let out a tear, as he only said in a raspy voice, "Jacob... No, please... We can get you off of here... Please..." as a single tear rolled down his eye, it twisted in the cold wind, as it flew off his cheek, following the wind.

Fanboys? Ppsh... I am not a fanboy, somebody like you insulting Halo: Reach for a highly illogical reason, I am only proving you wrong, if you had GOOD reasons, then I would agree, but this post really should be locked, or deleted.

Taylor only nodded at Ashley, he knew he would have to pilot, he went back to the pelican one more time, to check for any remaining supplies, he stumbled on a Crate, as he found two MA5K Carbines, and an M45D Tactical Shotgun, Taylor tossed away his old one, figuring he could upgrade to this newer version, now unto the carbines, he carried both of them, as he tossed one a Jacob, snickering, "You know how to operate one of these things?" as he loaded his, he gathered everyone around the Falcon, he took off his helmet, placing it on a crate, his face looked tired, like he was ready to fall and die, and that is how Taylor felt, cold, tired, beaten, but he had to be an example, to the men and women he led, he looked at them, letting out a deep sigh, and saying, "I know what you want to hear... But, I wish, I didn't have to tell you the truth... All of us, may not make it out of here, you all know that, deep down... Rook... Joseph, died, but he died a hero, he died without a single sin that man... We, made it this far... And we are almost out of it... It was an honor to serve this far with all of you," as he saw the same man in the green armor again, except this time, he had his helmet off, he was bleeding, but he was also smiling at Taylor, Taylor looked at him and smiled back, as he became somewhat defiant, he turned his head to Ash, and continued his speech, "I can't promise all of your hopes or dreams but there are some things I can promise... I would follow each and every one of you people to hell and back, and I know you would do the same for me... And I promise you, that I would go back and do it all again if I had to... We are going home, either on that ship or in a box... Fight to go home on that ship, fight with me, to get off this hellhole, and make it back alive! Who's with me?" as he smiled, looking back on the dying man, he was gone, like he had disappeared.
-
Tal' wasn't taking any chances, he immediately turned to the Huragok controlling the ship, and yelling, "Transfer controls to the Talons! This is where it begins! Battlegroup Torus, get your crew into the atmosphere, Battlegroups Shelo and Rorak, wait for my mark!" as Tal' waited to see what the Elite would do with his ships, he ordered yet another cruiser to enter the battle, as the cruiser lied in wait, out of the range of both sides cannons.

I personally prefer him as a male, because it is kinda cool to imagine myself as Noble 6, although, I believe females run slightly faster. Still, I agree their should be more GOOD female characters, Kat was plain annoying, and Palmer is a complete jerk, I mean, what the hell? I don't hate female characters, it is just they are not putting much effort into them.

[As far as Taylor is concerned, Rook is dead, due to the fact he cannot get a pulse, if trae feels like telling me weither or not his guy is dead, then we can solve this] Taylor continued talking to Ashley, as he became slightly optimistic, and let out a light chuckle, saying in a semi-quiet voice, "Well... I could pilot, I don't know, though... I guess. Grab everyone, we are bugging out of here." but as Taylor turned he was met with Ike, who was talking about the Rook, Taylor was confused, so he said to Ike, "Woah, woah, woah, slow down, Ike... Take a breath... Now, where is he?" as Taylor's eyes jotted open, and he bursted from the group, running at full sprint toward the pelican, as he tripped, falling face first into the snow, that didn't stop him, he quickly picked himself up off the cold ground, and ran once again, as he found Rook's body, Taylor grabbed Rook, holding him as he knocked on Rook's helmet VISR, saying, "Rook! Rook! Get up!" Taylor became worried, he hurried towards the Falcon, as he rested him inside of it, he grabbed a Bio-Foamer off the wall, injecting it into his blood spattered chest, it wasn't helping though, he was too Damaged, Taylor became worried, as he breathed quickly, but he slowed down and just sighed, and closed his eyes, as he picked up Rook's body, carrying it in his arms, he walked out of the Falcon, near Ike and Ashley, as he put his Helmet in Ashley's hands, as he walked slowly toward the pelican, he grabbed a sheet, and put it over the Rook's body, he prayed in latin over his body, as he put his palm on Rook's head, saying, "Goodbye, Joseph." as he slowly walked away, he didn't know what to do anymore, he walked over to Ashley, as he said in a low voice, "I can't get a pulse, I think he is dead... We have to go, Ash..." as he put his hand on her shoulder.
-
Tal' stared out into the strew of debris, his arms crossed, and his smile had faded into an angry shell, but he kept himself peaceful, as he said to the elite in a booming voice, "C'mon, you know I want these humans out of my way, as well. Who's to say they wouldn't come after me? After all, " he paused, smiling wickedly yet again, and looking up at the screen, and continuing his sentence, "I am a wanted terrorist..." as he uncrossed his arms, clutching his left fist, and speaking in a quieter tone, but still a loud, giant-like voice, "Do we have a deal?"

Granted, It is a job as the guy who has to apologize about all the flaws in the Xbox One. I wish that I was in charge of writing Halo 5.

Ok... As excited as I am for the PS4 as well, I find this post highly illiterate and without logic. They did not ruin Reach, as they did not create it, all they do now is run the servers for the game, patch it, and choose which gamemodes THAT WERE ALREADY CREATED will be chosen. Multi-team being full of people abusing you is not 343i's fault, they cannot control who does what on a game that was released years ago, otherwise CoD would be filled with mature gentlemen. Credits are not in their hands either, you get credits by how YOU play the game. The shotgun up-close is full of power, makes sense they would nerf it, and as for the grenade, I am not sure. Armor Lock is an armor ability, that has been in the game since it came out, they can't do much about that. I have not seen swordblock for the host team, but this is likely a rare problem. You didn't like Halo 4, fine, no need to go slapping the fact around, it is called an opinion, keep it to yourself please. And go ahead and trade reach, you aren't hurting 343 or Bungie, in fact, you are only hurting your local gamestop, due to the fact that they have to sell this stuff to make money, so congrats. Oh, and one more thing, this isn't an official 343i website, this is a Community forum, -OMEGA

Tal' smiled wickedly, and ordered a Grunt Minor in the room in a booming voice, "Share the Fifth Screen with our friend here, NOW!" as the grunt hurried his hands on the board, and Tal's image cut off, instead, the image of a Forerunner structure on one of Tal's controlled worlds, and Tal' began to speak as the hologram rotated, "This artifact was found on Sirus, one of my worlds, I have not destroyed it yet instead, I have been studying it, to learn it's secrets, and I have learned quite the few, my friend, open up the footage!" as the screen swapped, to a hazy recording, on the grassy planet, as a squad of Elite minors approached the structure, one of them filming it, as the elite turned his recorder to a Minor, who turned his head, as a glow of orange burst through his body, and he evaporated, and the camera turned, and Tal' paused, the camera seemed to show the structure, except in the distance, a floating, forerunner object appeared, it seemed as though it was defending the facility, as the screen was minimized, and Tal' on his bridge was shown again, as Tal' slightly approached the screen, and he brought his hand up, the whole ship seemed silent, as he snapped his fingers, the snap echoed through the entire ship, and one of the doors bursted open, an Elite minor wheeled in what looked like a clear glass cage, and a deactivated Watcher, he looked back at the elite he was negotiating with, and said, "So... Do we have a deal?" as he lightly snickered.

Granted, but someone else does, so therefore, the point is mute. I wish that fish could walk on land.

The chills in the forest seemed to have gotten colder and more calm, as they lightly massaged Taylor's shoulder pad, Taylor signaled his squad to stay back, as he continued to move up the hills, scouting for soldiers, from either side, as the walking took it's toll on him, he sat on the hillside, and took his helmet off slowly, the Recon-Esq helmet, the past few days had been harsh on the beat up thing, but it still worked fine, they were made to last, not just the armor. As he sat, he examined his helmet, and smiled, as he turned it around, putting it back on to his head, and polarizing the visor again, as he continued up the mountain at a slow pace, he hit his foot on something sharp, he gasped in pain as he looked down, something green and large was buried into the snow, Taylor dug it out, as he picked it up, it was a helmet, not like any he had seen, it had the words, "MK. V" on it, and it was military, then, yet again, another memory flicked back into his head, an more visions, as his eyes projected a large man, in a suit of armor, with a helmet similar to this, holding his assault rifle defiantly, as a wave of snow hurdled toward the image, dissipating with the moving snow. Taylor shook his head, and continued walking, as he got closer to the fire, he could hear voices, not nearby, but in his head, he couldn't get them out, as he kept walking, they became louder and clearer, until he finally reached it, Taylor looked over the mound, and finally, reached the top of the hill, all he could see was a fire, it seemed primitive, but it was there, glowing in the mountains, it wasn't natural. As he looked around, strange glyphs started to appear on the fire, soon, all around Taylor, the alien glyphs appeared, they weren't Covenant either, Taylor's head began to hurt massively as he fell to the floor on his knees. He closed his eyes, and muttered strange words in another language, all while struggling to get a hold of himself, when suddenly, it stopped, everything, Taylor breathed heavily as he lifted his head up, opening his eyes, the fire stood peacefully, as he could make out the figure of a Falcon, slightly damaged, but useable, Taylor slowly lifted himself up as he saw, next to the Falcon, the same Spartan from earlier, except, he just stood and looked at Taylor, his gold visor shining, Taylor yelled toward him, "Hello? Person? Please, if you can help, just let me know you are there! Please?" as he started to come closer, the figure just stood still, then, it started to become a clear-white color, it was dispersing, into a glowing blue energy, Taylor yelled more at the figure, but it completely disappeared before Taylor could touch him, as Taylor pondered at this, still sick, and cold, he turned to the Falcon, as he explored the inside of it, as he looked out into the white yonder, he felt alone, and he had also wondered why no bodies appeared around the falcon, or the man who created the fire, Taylor jumped inside the Falcon's pilot seat, the controls were all there, he activated the Dashboard, and turned on the Falcon, as the rotors chugged along the Falcon's sides, he lifted the magnificent bird into the air, the wind brushed the side of his helmet, as he looked through the glass, and saw the moon, finally showing, as Taylor smiled, he flew back to the crashed pelican, as he nestled the falcon down slowly, he lifted the cockpit up, and jumped out, looking around, as he saw it again, the white elite, holding the girl, except this time, instead of his wife, it was Ash, Taylor's heart dropped, as he closed his eyes, opening them again, to see both figures gone, it was just a vision, Taylor shook it off, walking back to Ash, Ike, and Jacob, as his eyes seemed tired, Taylor crouched next to the three, and said, "We... We got a Falcon, we have a way to get where we need to go, now we need a good pilot, It has been a long time, I'm a little rusty." as he looked out unto the pelican.
