    Breakout League: Week 1

    The League starts on Monday the 30th of November.

     

    Rules and League Format:

    1. After the Round-Robin ends, a tournament between the teams will commence based on overall rankings, based on overall wins and then the following tiebreakers: (Who won in the match-up, win-loss ratio inside all match-ups (ie, winning 2-0 to 2-1 is better), then most Team kills, then a Sudden-Death match-up).
    2. The Tournament Finals will be played over 5 rounds (instead of the normal 3), in the event of a tie, one round of sudden death Breakout will determine the winner. 
    3. Teams will play in a Round-Robin format, with one match-up per week, each team will have 7 days to complete their assigned match-up.
    4. Match-ups will consist of 3 breakout matches, best two out of three.
    5. Each team is required to record and save the matches played. The films will be used to determine any cheating or tiebreakers.
    6. Maps will be announced for each match-up, and all settings will be default Breakout.
    7. If a player is kicked/drops from the match, the match will continue as normal. The player may re-join the party if another match is needed to be played
    8. Both teams must have at least one person A: Recording the game or B: Streaming and saving the game.
    9. To decide your match date contact your opponent's captain their name is listed below.
    10. Should the match-up not occur, the victor will be determined based on who made contact first to set up the match. If neither team does this, the match will count as a loss for both teams.
    11. All substitutes must be approved by Yoshi1176 or Sikslik7.
    12. If you can not play your match in the allotted time of seven days, you must contact Yoshi1176 or Sikslik7 immediately, failure to do so will result in disqualification.
    13. Cheating in anyway will end in a a match-up loss and possibly further punishment, including disqualification of the player or team from the league may be pursued.

  7. Downoaded the Warzone REQ Bundle on wrong profile

    So I am going into the store and I went download my Warzone REQ Bundle but it then signs in my brother and it downloads it on to his profile. I went to Xbox support and they sent me here please help I want my REQ packs, my ticket number is 1310383644.

    At the current time, unlocking req packs can only happen in-game on Halo 5 and the Halo Channel app, but you must have preliminary access to the multiplayer. In the future, this will also be able to be seen on Halo  waypoint. This being said, you can unlock and look at the contents of one req pack at this time, which you can acquire by joining a Spartan company on Halo Wapoint.

  16. Forge Problem Need Help Please!

    when I highlight the map, it somehow shows a different map I created on Erosion. When I load into the Ravine map (which I simply named Snipe), it loads a completely different map I created on Erosion (called Griffball Ramps). 

     

    Sounds like your map file got corrupted (the Ravine map called Snipe). Try uploading it to your fileshare and redownloading it after deleting the one on your console. If you can't due to a game error, or it just uploads the Erosion map, then your map is lost. It happens from time to time, but it is one of the main reasons to backup maps on your fileshare or have multiple copies (even if one is just an older version).

    As someone who had the ending of Halo 4 spoiled for me two weeks before it came out, it took away from the experience. I also remember having people discuss the ending in the shoutbox less than an hour before I got it, (I'm looking at you Europeans and Australians), so I couldn't pretend/believe the spoils ending was false.

     

    I am very happy to see work before the release of Halo 5 this time around.

    @@Twinreaper is correct. Not sourcing the quote, even with the subtle change is plagiarism. You must source it and do so properly. If you change it the way you described, you would still be plagiarizing, as the idea is not general or well known. It is not a basic fact like (humans have two feet) or a basic idea that could be argued such as well (taxes hurt the economy). You must source the quote, even if you change it.

     

    Do not think that you can get away with such a simple change in any academic writing. Quotes are almost always checked, especially when the author claims it is original. As Abraham Lincoln once said, "Never trust quotes from the internet."

     

    As a side note, what are you using the quote for?

    Has this only been happening recently, and only with MCC? Have you been able to receive notifications for other games or for things like invitations or clips being recorded? Have you played another game and unlocked achievements during the MCC dry spell?

    Well here I am, after spending countless hours with xbox support and failed posts to the halowaypoint forums (no replies ever) I end up here. So here is the issue I have: No matter which game (H1,H2,H3,H4,H2A) or playlist i play, within a minute or so of connecting to the game I go black screen and then it respawns me in like i just started the game and this continues literally every 10 seconds or so throughout the entire game and it happens every game now. I have hard reset xbox, restarted internet, opened ports in my router for Open NAT, cleared mac address, cleared local and cloud save data, uninstalled and reinstalled the game 5 times now, even factory reset my xbox. I am at a loss at how to fix this issue and 343 will not reply on their forums. This is the only game that this happens as well, i play a couple other games with 0 issues. If anyone on here can help me just know I will be forever in your debt if the fix works because its been almost 2 months now that i haven't been able to play MCC.

    Well, it sounds like you are up a creek with no paddle. If you have done all of these things, it sounds like you really do need 343i's direct help. My only suggestion would be to see if you can get a new disc and install MCC with that (If your own a digital copy you may still want to try this). Then attempt to play MCC. It could be that your maps or game engine have been corrupted (most likely on the disc, but not enough for the download not to work), meaning the game try's to reload everything when a certain variable occurs (like a certain object is on the map, or a player moves in a certain direction,a certain time, too much to process, etc). If this works, just return the extra physical copy (the old one) to the place you bought the new one, and let them know it's defective. Most places will still allow you to return it.

     

    If that fails, then I would guess it is one of three things: The first is a defective Xbox. The second would be an issue with connecting to MS or your xbl account has an issue. The third is that there is an issue with your account and 343i. I would assume it is either 1 or 3, but it may be some convoluted connection issue which would explain 1, 2, or 3.

    Before you clear your local save data, completely unplug your console and plug it back together. Sometimes after resetting the router and doing all of the above it works. You may want to try to download a free to play game like Warframe, which can help when a game freezes or doesn't respond in a similar manner to MCc right now. That way you don't have to switch discs to get a game to work properly.

     

    If none of that works, recent the save cache.
