@Mr. Biggles, Nope. Just toolbar extensions it will add to web browsers. But all you really have to do to prevent that is to install it from a trusted site (CNet, Piriform, Etc) and during the install process just make sure you unclick or hite decline when it suggests you install the toolbar as a bonus. I have been using it for years no problem!

There are no adds on this website, I don't really know what to say apart from: Check the registry and check programs and features. Most basic ad-ware viruses go to 'Programs and Features' and they can be removed simply by uninstalling them !

I realized it wasnt the site when I went to another and another and noticed they keep popping up. Sorry guys...
