Last week's Canon Fodder dubbed "That's So Raven" was focused on the new action arcade game by 343: Fireteam Raven. Some might know and some may not but Fireteam Raven was present on Installation 04 while the Master Chief was off killing hundreds of Covenant and Flood beings on his own. Surely that wasn't a man-made cave.
I loved the background tidbits about each member to bring a little more to their character. I have yet to experience the game however. The Canon Fodder also brought these great images:

This is really difficult and I've been thinking about this since the post went up. I can name so many Sangheili in the universe that have great stories and why they could be anyone's favorites...
My favorite will have to be Thel 'Vadam however. More commonly known as The Arbiter, leader of the Swords of Sanghelios.
A fearless leader with the rage of 5 Sangheili warriors. He knows peace is what is right for the Elites and doesn't let pride get in the way of that which is very unlike the other Sangheili. One of the only people in the Haloverse that can call Master Chief, "friend."

In terms of a serious answer, Sangheili takes the point due to their diverse range, however we all know grunts are best girl of the Halo series with their big blue... Assets... Yes let's go with that O.O

Installation 01 is the only fan-made Halo game with a forum here because for a while, we were the official forum for discussing I01 online. Also, our Site Mod, Church, is a project lead there
.This doesn't mean we don't like other games. I personally think SPV3 and Project Contingency look like awesome games, they just weren't official partners like our I01 bois.

It’s hard to say right now but speculations have it that the Flood could make an appearance in Halo Infinite. Installation 07, where the game takes place, has a huge history involving the Flood, Mendicant Bias, and even the Primordial- an ancient Precursor/Gravemind.
I think with a return to older art style, we could also see a return to older enemies. I would say the focus would more likely be on Brutes since we have so many Elite allies now but there are a few factions of Sangheili I can name that 343 can write into the mix.

I surely hope so. Granted, I wouldn’t put it past the devs to think of a story that has them on some other mission.

Hello everyone! I am pleased to announce that we are adding two members to the Staff here to help ensure our little corner of the Haloverse stays happy and healthy.
On our News Group: weighing in at a half ton including a Mjolnir GEN II powersuit, it’s UNSC Spartan II!! Spartan has been providing us with discussion for months now taking over the Weekly Site Poll. He is a valuable asset as one of our newest Staff members. *One Final Effort intensifies.*
And joining the boys in blue on the mod squad, it’s Sikslik! Slik is a long-time Staffer previously coordinating events and streaming games. He’s shown me, personally, a lot of his passion that he still holds for our site and we know he will continue this as a C-Mod.
Please everyone give them a nice congrats.
On top of this big announcement I just want to add that we are in the process of brainstorming for site updates and you can expect to see some in the future. Heart you all and hail Twam.

Hello beloved community,
Today is a special day for us since it marks the day that we join the rest of the world in finally launching a public Discord server. Very exciting news indeed. I want to personally thank everyone who's stuck around in these days of withering activity like Caboose, Ledgend, Sierra Forge, our Staff and Mods, and anyone who's stopped in to say hello as well.
So in light of this news we will be having a celebration on Halo 5 using the classic setting they've implemented for the new playlist. You can find the Event thread made by soon-to-be-former Staff member Yoshi right here.

The site will function as normal but we expect most of the activity to transfer to the Discord Server for a fair amount of time until more updates are implemented.

DreamHack is a large event known esports, concerts, and other forms of digital art. It is recognized worldwide for its exceptional organization, production, and quality of entertainment. This year, DreamHack hosted Halo 5 for the first time at their Atlanta event for the Halo Championship Series Pro League Summer Season Finals.
There was a massive turnout of teams with 93 total showing up to compete. This was a huge step for Halo esports bringing in the most competitors and most live viewers Halo has had since its MLG days. Online viewership peaked at 20,255 viewers during the grand finals between Splyce and Optic Gaming.

-STR8 Rippin will not be in the next season of the Pro League after losing their spot to Oxygen Supremacy.
-Oxygen Supremacy was the first team in history to relegate a Pro League team from the open circuit.
-This was the first time Optic Gaming had made it to the grand finals through the losers' bracket.
-This was the first time Optic didn't face off against EnVyUs for the top spot.
-Splyce has the youngest roster in all of the HCS Pro League with Shotzzy and Renegade being 16 years old.

As of DreamHack Atlanta, it has been announced that Microsoft Stores in the U.S., Puerto Rico, Canada, and even Australia will be hosting monthly tournaments for local players to meet and compete. Here is the trailer where you can see Kenny the Spartacat talk about prizes and what these tournaments bring to the Halo Community:

Lots of big news in this update. For me though it feels too little too late. I'm still very into Halo 5 and I've played the older Halos recently and couldn't get back into that slow gameplay. I'm still excited for the rise of activity the Halo community will see.

The standings for the HCS Summer 2017 Pro League are as follows:

EU -
EU ANNOUNCEMENT:
The EU Pro League has been removed and replaced with a series of open events. The first main event will be HCS London. 343 say they want to "add a premium LAN for the European community to call their own and rally behind."
We can expect to see more focus on the EU amateur scene which is large but widely unexplored.
