infinite ammo

In my copy of the Master Chief Collection the bandana skull in Halo 2 gives me infinite ammo for most of the weapons but for some reason weapons like the Plasma Rifle, Plasma Sword, Plasma Pistol, and Sentinel Beam it does not I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game and it didn't fix anything

 

Anyone have another solution that might work

The only reasonable thing I can think of is that Plasma-based weapons use Energy, not ammunition? And thus aren't affected by the Skull?

For me the banana skull works normally.... I mean I remember it doing what its supposed to do anyways. I'd have to go back and double check but I think mine worked with all weapons
