Sony has announced that its annual Summer Sale will begin Wednesday, July 19, promising "blazingly hot discounts" on thousands of PS4 and PS5 games. The sale period runs for about a month, ending on August 16.In a blog post, Sony said discounts will be offered only for a "limited time." Not only that, but some games will leave the sale period before the event itself wraps up entirely.The PlayStation Store's Summer Sale begins July 19Sony will publish the full list of deals when the sale begins on July 19, so check back soon for that. The deals will be posted on the PlayStation Summer Sale website.Sony typically runs seasonal PlayStation Store sales, the latest big one being the Spring Sale in March and April 2023.You don't have to wait until next week to get a good deal on PlayStation games, however, as Sony is holding an "Essential Picks" sale right now.
