On June 3, the game broke a record on Steam (as noted by Twitter user Benji-Sales), reaching over 70,000 concurrent users, coming out ahead of Mortal Kombat 11, Tekken 7, and Mortal Kombat X. We know Rashid will launch in Summer 2023, A.K.I will release in Fall 2023, Ed will come to the game in Winter 2024, and then Akuma will make his debut in Spring 2024.Street Fighter 6 launched to critical acclaim, with many reviewers praising its visuals, gameplay, variety, and controls. Many enjoy the way it caters to players of all skill levels, allowing it to reach a wider audience, overall."I can't get enough of Street Fighter 6. It's been my last thought when I go to bed and my first thought when I wake up. It has a beautifully constructed fighting system, but also offers modes that take the game very seriously and, in other cases, not seriously at all. There are some small issues with performance in World Tour, but none of those are enough to derail the overall package. With the releases of new Tekken and Mortal Kombat games, it very much feels like we're in a new golden era for the fighting game genre. Thankfully, Street Fighter 6 steps into the arena looking good and fighting fit," wrote Jason Fanelli in GameSpot's Street Fighter 6 review.View the full article
