World of Warcraft mount collectors will want to make sure they are subscribed to Amazon Prime this month, as a rare mount that goes for around $400 is being made available to all subscribers.

The mount in question is the Big Battle Bear, which players could previously only earn by inputting a 25-digit-code found on the back of The Red Bearon card from the WoW Trading Card Game's 2008 Drums of War expansion. It's not a terribly impressive looking mount, being just a bear with a saddle on it (of which there are many in WoW nowadays), but the mount's card game origins do make it worth snagging for players who are always looking to up their mount collection game.

This unassuming mount went for around $400 prior to being offered as part of Amazon Prime Gaming.

From now until April 27, Prime members can claim the mount by simply linking their Twitch and Amazon Prime accounts, and then linking their Twitch account with their Blizzard Battle.net account. The mount should then appear in-game under the mount collection tab. Those who aren't Prime members can use a 30-day free trial to claim the mount as well.

This isn't the first time Blizzard has offered a previously rare card game mount. In the lead-up to the release of WoW's new Dragonflight expansion, Blizzard offered a mount that went for around $3,000 on sites like eBay as a free Twitch drop for watching four hours of Dragonflight content on the streaming platform. While the move was well-received by many players, those who had spent thousands of dollars to obtain the Feldrake via the card game felt a little burned by the decision.

Fans are now eagerly waiting for the mother of all WoW TCG mounts, the Spectral Tiger, to be made more widely available. The Spectral Tiger is currently listed on sites like eBay for upwards of $4,000, though Blizzard has not announced any specific plans to offer the Spectral Tiger for free in the future.

The Big Battle Bear isn't the only gaming related offering as part of Amazon Prime Gaming this next month. Amazon Prime members can get 15 free games next month, including Wolfenstein: The New Order, Icewind Dale, and Metal Slug 4.
