"We've got some news on the next factions joining the battle in Age of Empires IV!" read a tweet from The Game Awards' official Twitter account, accompanied by a trailer for the new update. Premiering at Gamescom's Opening Night Live showcase, the Ottomans and Malians trailer revealed that the DLC will add two new factions to the game. The trailer depicts the two factions on the battlefield, with the Malians lurking in a forest while the Ottomans demolish castle walls.The Ottomans' cannons are not to be trifled with, and can easily breach walls.The Ottomans and Malians DLC is being released in honor of the award-winning game's one-year anniversary, will be available for Age of Empires IV players to download for free starting on October 25, 2022, and is available on Game Pass.
