Amanda Pacheco Posted March 11, 2015 Report Share Posted March 11, 2015 I had previously received a code for the one month of free Xbox live gold, sometime in February, for the problems with the MasterChief Collection. I opened the message on my Xbox One but have not redeemed the code yet and now the message seems to have disappeared. I know I did not delete the message, so where did it go? I would like to be able to eventually redeem that one free month. I have already tried contacting Xbox Live support and they directed me here. Help! Unease Peanut Posted March 11, 2015 Report Share Posted March 11, 2015 There was no code, if you were eligable to recieve the 1 month it was added to your account automaticly with the message. Messages automaticly delete themselves after 1 month and that's the reason why it's gone. However Xbox Support redicrected you to the wrong forum (they do this all the time). Here is what the message says: As a token of our appreciation for your continued support of Halo: The Master Chief Collection, we have applied a free one-month extension to your Xbox Live Gold membership. I did not have a Gold subscription prior to receiving the free month, we were on a free trail and it may have ended before we even got the message, I do not remember. But we DID receive a message and it DID have a code. Moving on to another forum and hopefully get a response from someone who can actually do something about it. You might have gotten a message, but it wouldn't have contained a code. What Fishy quoted was what was in the message. Nother more. Nothing less. Which makes me wonder, why recieve a code... But not redeem it immediatly? It only costs like 5 seconds. Anyways, good luck trying another forum. Even though I highly doubt they'll get you any further.
