Forza Motorsport 4

 

 

Contenders to the crown have come and gone, but Forza remains the daddy when it comes to straight-up driving games. Pushing the photo-realism meter all the way up to "crikey", Forza 4 looks set to blow us away all over again this October. Even if you're not a huge fan of racing, there's something universally satisfying about nailing a perfect lap in a hot-pink Bugatti Veyron. Tapping into the populist realm of silly driving fun, developer Turn 10 has even joined forces with Top Gear to add a variety of modes based on the TV show , most notably car soccer. Oh, and if the idea of messing about on the iconic test track doesn't make your brain do a little giggle, then you should just give up now and buy yourself a bike. Subtle Kinect features such as head-tracking add welcome icing to the tasty car-cake, but racing fans without kinect are still in for an amazing treat.
