Recently at CES 2014 keynote the Sony president Andrew house unveiled a new streaming service

coming to PlayStation called PlayStation now.

PlayStation now is a service that allows PlayStation 4 users to stream games from the original PlayStation the PS2 and the PS3 right onto there PS4. ( Now I can play the last us EPIC WIN ! )

this also includes other Sony devices for example the PS vita.

There was a demo at CES 2014 with ironically the last of us but Sony did not say the price for

this service. but added that customers will be able to rent titles on an individual basis or as part of a wider subscription package and I can presume separate from PS plus. They also added they intend to make sure most of the huge downsides of streaming like input lag for example.

The games on PlayStation now will also support trophies ( Awesome :D )

The beta of this service is now running in the US and the full service is presumed to be coming

this summer. ( I cannot wait )

I bet all you guys with a PS4 are looking forward to this as much as me. :D

This really doesn't affect me because I won't be getting a PS4 but this is a really neat feature that's being added. I loved PS2 games (I'd still play em if my PS2 wasn't broken)

I'm also very curious to see if Microsoft will do something similar to combat this on the Xbox One.

Also nice post Caboose, informative and quoted sources, good job
