Cannot save game???

I have just tried starting your game - after two hours play of the single player campaign, i cannot save.

 

Game returns "There is not enough storage space on this device. Do you want to select another" as the message.

 

I have 212GB free on my XBox 360???

 

What is the issue here? I have installed this game on my console, and retried several times at several separate stages. There is no support on the halo4 website for this, no-one replies.

do you have a built in storage device and not a stand alone storage device? if that's the case, you may need to get one

No... the built in xbox hard drive. there is (or there certainly should not be) any form of external storage.

 

probably is some stupid 'xbox live' rubbish that won't allow the game to work because i dont have internet access.

internet has nothing to do with it.

we can eliminate cloud storage.

 

though, im not sure, you may need an external storage device. otherwise, you might as well have a key for a door that doesnt work. the key being the save and the door being the storage device.

 

have you tried posting on the waypoint forums since its 343's forums? there is really nothing else i can do here except send you to the waypoint forum
