Do you think it's possible if the Xbox One sales are terrible even after the release of Halo 5 that MS might realise their mistake and release some of their exclusives onto the PC so they at least get some money from them? If they make them available on PC then they're no longer exclusive and so there's no reason to get an Xbox One - by keeping it just to their console, they can effectively hold Halo fans to ransom, which will help to make up hardware sales whose profits would otherwise have gone to PC.
