WHAT HALO 5 NEEDS MUST READ!

THIS IS GOING TO BE LONG BUT I PROMISE YOU, IF YOU TAKE THE TIME TO READ THIS YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED( THIS IS THE 3RD TIME WRITING THIS BECAUSE MY COMPUTER JUST ERACED THIS SO... ID LOVE IT IF YOU READ IT ALL CAUSE THIS SUCKED LOL)

 

CAMPAIGN

 

1.) ARBITER NEEDS TO RETURN AS A PLAYABLE CHARACTER

 

2.) much more interactive campaign 

 

3.) we need boss battles similar to halo 2, bring the scarab back and the flying vehicle in halo 2 but also bring back some more difficult bosses 

 

4.) prometheans need a stronger class after them like the covenant have using the hunters

 

 

MULTIPLAYER

 

1.) needs many new weapons human covenant prometheans and brute!

 

2.) EQUIPMENT NEEDS TO MAKE A COMEBACK, the bubble shield from halo reach and health restoration in halo 4 didnt really have much use as an armor ability BUT in halo 3 those things were used daily and they were alot of fun especially the shield drainers and trap mines also add new ones, one idea of mine was the teleporter in forge as equipment this can be used for big team battle in an objective game type like ctf, the player could simply place the sender and receiver where ever desired but it could obviously be destroyed and not used for players carrying the flag so its not over powered

 

3.) make elites playable again but also allow the brutes and prometheans to be playable as a bonus by completing something in the campaign or able to start with and also allow them each to have different armor customization's

 

4.) BRING BACK WEAPONS SUCH AS THE FLAMETHROWER ( give the flamethrower more range) AND MISSILE POD!, not only were these fun and spiced the game up but everyone loved them. also add some new ones for the prometheans elites and brutes.

 

5.) combat knife should be automatically equipped and used as a 3rd weapon for your Spartans,  Spartans would use the one equipped to their armor, other class enemies would have their own and it would have no lounge but one hit kill.

 

6.) armor customization's need to be fixed, i believe halo 4 did a very poor job with this because there was only a select few armor mods the rest were skins this was disappointing to me, with the new gen consoles 343 needs to expand the different types of helmets making a wide variety ALSO LET THEM NOT ONLY UNLOCKED THROUGH MULTIPLAYER BUT MIMIC HALO 3's STYLE, this would be by completing campaign achievements and what not this not only benefits players but after completing campaign players really wouldn't go back and play for halo 4 but by adding this players would go back and play nonstop

 

7.) by adding Spartans elites Promethean and brutes implement a leveling system that compliments the player on using that species EX. ( by using the prometheans you would unlock only promethean weapons and promethean armor also maybe one specific armor ability for that specific species like the promethean teleportation and by reaching the final level for the prometheans you would receive the Didacts armor) i think the brutes and prometheans could be bonus by reaching your final level using your spartan and elite. completing the spartans ranks you would unlock the prometheans enemy class and the elites you would unlock the brute as a class

 

8.) expand the weaponry for each enemy class BRING BACK THE SPIKE GRENADES FOR BRUTES AND THE FLAME GRENADE and use all the classic enemy weapons as well

 

CLASSIC COMPETITIVE PLAYLIST 

 

No ordinance drops just weapon placements sprint default and no overpowering armor abilities similar to halo reach style

 

CLASSIC ORDINANCE MULTIPLAYER

- i think it was a great idea on 343's part and all they really need to do is expand on it

 

Big Team Slayer

NOTE: Big Team Batttle is mainly for players that want to use vehicles so with the new systems 343 needs to expand on this)

 

1.) Bring a vehicle that is insanely powerful not too overpowering but enough! My idea on this would be the Promethean War Sphinx or something else, but the vehicle would be able to travel land and be able to fly (water if possible) on land the vehicle would be able to sprint jump do all things normal players could do except pick up weapons and would be able to bash through vehicles barriers while sprinting to scare the crap out of people and make the vehicle look fierce, in the air the vehicle could move like the banshee does but have its own style and be agile, the vehicle would have 3 personal and unique weapons only to the vehicle, the banshee is awesome but i hated the fact that since it was an elite vehicle it basically had a covenant turret and a fuel rod, DONT LET THIS BE THE CASE FOR THIS VEHICLE 343! let the vehicle have its own weapons not something anyone could pick up or find somewhere else just a tad different but TOTALLY different, the vehicle would be capable of taking 2 to 3 shots of a scorpion depending on its shape, the person inside would be well protected, to stop the vehicle you would use a weapon much like the missile pod and flamethrower but this weapon would shoot like a plasma ray much like a plasma pistol but more epic and in a Promethean way then this would lower the shield of the vehicle then it would shoot heat seeker missiles

 

2.) Bring vehicles like the Lego invention the siege bike into big team! i feel this vehicle and possible designs 343 could come up with like this could serve a great purpose because not every player plays big team with friends and could play the playlist alone so objective game types like ctf are difficult on the player BUT using vehicles like this that can be used with only one player making them fast to travel with by adding a boost like the ghost and attaching weapons like a turret and missiles into it not only will leave players amazed but encourage them to play objective game types whenever in big team also for ctf allow the player to pick the flag up and travel back on the vehicle

 

3.) with new gen consoles coming out maps need to be expanded along with the amount of players 

 

4.) BRING THE CHOPPER FALCON ELEPHANT AND PROWLER BACK! upgrade each vehicle obviously but bring them back

 

5.) equipment 

 

6.) DESTRUCTIBLE ENVIRONMENTS

 

 

CUSTOMS GAME TYPE

 

i believe customs should be its own game type online for players, this could be done by having players that want to play certain games link the games to their profile 3 max and by having preset max amounts of players such as 2, 4, 8, 16 or more players, the player would choose the amount of players to play with join the lobby then players would view games that other players want to play and have 5 or 10 minutes to vote BUT players will not be able to vote for their own game types. i think this would be a great add into this game and would leave many satisfied 

 

INFECTION

 

1.)infection was a great idea but it was always the same thing to me and didnt seem like a real infection game. to me infection should kind of be like a horde mode from gears. non infected players earn points for kills and use ordinance as the points build players would be able to place turrets barricades and progress to vehicles as players earn more points, they would also be able to call in weapons ammo armor abilities, equipment and flamethrowers missilepods etc..

 

2.)when players level up playing infection they could unlock different types of infection creatures from the spider looking ones the standard zombie, the big powerful zombies in halo 3 to some newer class zombie in game as you infect players you get points and can change into a higher class infected

 

3.) when the zombies are shot and killed i want theyr limbs to actually blow off

 

4.) zombies only need sprint theres no need for them to have armor abilities by using sprint 343 also needs to add better use of the upper body for visual effects.

 

5.) 1 TO 2 MAPS BUILT FOR JUST THE USE OF INFECTION

great ideas. i have always been thinking of this since halo 1 but what about a flame saw. flamethrower and chain saw where the teeth are a chain saw. then you know how we have different types of warthogs? well what a different type of ghost too.  it could be called the stalker. it is a red ghost that shoots red plasma bolts like the brute plasma rifel from halo 2. and instead of having a jet ability it has a active camo ability. it goes invisible but you don't have to move slowly like the active camo AA. it's like the original power up from halo one but on a ghost. and it moves  bit faster than the normal ghost.

I already got a type of mongoose type of new vehicle thing. so i will try to get the stalker idea out too



also iv ment to get this out too. it's an upgrade to the auto sentry. all it is is the drone from the movie oblivion. just it shoots suppressor bolts too instead of lasers

Yes I do agree they MUST bring back the falcon from halo reach but the pilot can have the front gun and there should be different versions of the falcon like a gauss turret and rocket turrets.and the passenger seats should be usable. If they added this into halo 4 or 5 I would love it a lot more!!!!!!! N

Yeah, I loved Elites in the other games. We need to be able to become Covenant  Spartans and Forerunner. It would be great if we could be grunts, hunters, etc. I remember playing Halo: Custom Edition on the computer a year or two ago with a mod that allowed me to become any covenant trooper that I wanted, I had the time of my life.

i like that one. i saw that idea in another post of yours and i still like the machete. funny thing... i have this fantasy world where i am basically this spartan and i have a machete and a few knives and i use those more than guns against the covenant

Many of these ideas sound "fun", but in reality they would devastate the success of the next halo game. the dynamics and flow of the gameplay need to be considered immediately, and many of these ideas only sound like good ones until you imagine that your opponent gets their hands on it. Don't get me wrong, some of these ideas are very creative, but thinking realistically, they would do more harm than help

In my opinion, Halo 4 needs:

-Bring back infection, and add it to the flood playlist as an option, so people will be happy to build those crazy game types again :D

-Add a classic slayer 4v4 (Loadouts-> Assault rifle & magnum or Storm rifle & magnum or Supressor & magnum, with no armor habilities, resuply and explosives and can pick up Dmr's, Br's, boltshot, Plasma pistol, rockets, sniper and other weapons on the map) and classic big team slayer 8v8 (Loadout's-> Br & Ar or DMR & Ar or Lightrifle & Ar or Carbine & Ar, with tanks, yes, there is only a map with this one, Laser on the center, sniper, and other weapons that u 343 would like to place on the map), with this 2 classic playlist, people would feel more like they are playing Halo.

- Csr visible in Game

- A ranking system. How? A ranking system like reach, where we buy stuff with credits. Pick up those helmets that people get from leveling up, and do like this:

EOD- must be captain, and pay 35k credits

EOD skin- must be general, pay 60k credits and have Ar commendation mastered.

So don't reset commendation (because people that worked hard would get really disapointed), but if you are getting EOD skin on the new system, you don't need to do it again, because you have already done it.

 

-Add more crazy gametypes like race, juggernaut (edit regicide)

 

For Halo 5:

- on the main menu, put that classic Halo music, because I REALLY MISS THAT TONE

- Put some kind of super promethean (like hunter)

- GIVE US BACK OUR INVASION GAME TYPE, MAKE ELITES PLAYABLE ONLY ON INVASION

- Needle rifle as a covenant counterpart of DMR, like the carbine is Br's counterpart. in campaing, elites use carbine and jackals use needle rifle

-My idea for Halo 5's first mission: The prologue, chief is in a nightmare, and there is cortana and bla bla bla, make some interesting nightmare, like Halo 4 ending, or a part from any other Halo, or even a mix of parts from other Halos. Them chief wokes up, looks through the window, them the city starts being atacked by the covenant (Strom), and the prometheans are helping covenant (like in spartan Ops), But then the Covenant ( the real one) shows up and a fight starts, and the arbiter will return, OR forget about the normal covenant and the arbiter. Chief has no armor, and is trying to get to his armor, which is actually on a armory or something. When gets face to face with the armor, Halo classic music plays (EPIC MOMENT), and he sees cortana on the helmet's visor. 

Shields- like Halo 4, but when you are out of shields and you get shot, the hud starts going red (blood), and there are health packs to recover from that red hud, more red is the hud, less body shoots you can take before dying, and also make some kind of recover system, with time, the red starts going away, and you can that more body shoots again.

Chainsaws are out of the question. Also, the Stalker sounds completely OP. No offense or anything, it just wouldn't work in multiplayer. People would hate 343 even more for ruining game balance.

Halo 5 Changes:

Multiplayer:

1. Ordinance Drops deploy in the same area of the map every game.

2. Players each have an Armor Drop, which spawns a preselected armor ability and can only be used once every match.

3. Weapons deploy in the same area of the map every game.

4. Vehicles can take more damage.

5. Offer option to join games in progress. Comes with an overview of possible matches, including score, gametype, and map.

6. Larger hitboxes for vehicles, allowing for more consistent “splatters.”

7. Offer more variety in multiplayer maps.

8. Separate social and ranked playlists.

9. Add visible 1-50 rank in ranked matches, while keeping the CSR in social matches.

10. Remove instant spawn and bring back five-second respawn.

11. Bring back all previous guns and offer new ones that each has their own unique use.

12. Bring back all previous matchmaking playlists like including Big Team Battle, One Flag, Multi-Team, Team Doubles, Slayer Fiesta, Action Sack, and Griffball.

13. More rewards for winning matches than for personal kills.

14. Penalty for exiting matches is the deduction of all points gained unless the player had a kill/death ratio below .5 when he left.

15. Bring back Hornet to be flown in multiplayer matches.

16. Allow Pelican to be flown in multiplayer matches.

17. Smaller maps like the Pit from Halo 3 for small gametypes like team doubles.

18. Shots can force snipers out of their scopes.

19. Bring back the option to pick up and drop objectives like flags and oddballs.

20. Increase the time weapons remain open to interaction after spawning.

21. Bring back races for player customization.

22. Remove grenade indicators.

23. Be able to adjust lab compensation.

24. Overcharged plasma pistols slow down vehicles, without fully disabling them. Two overcharged shots will fully disable a vehicle.

25. Bring back Dual wielding.

 

Firefight:

1. Bring back this cooperative campaign mode.

 

Spartan Ops:

1. Play as Spartan II soldiers from their training on Reach to their missions against the Insurrection and the Covenant.

 

Forge:

1. Offer more variety in Forge items. 

2. Flat grassy map with large boundaries.

3. Offer the ability to customize what time of day it is (morning, before noon, afternoon, night).

4. Offer the ability to spawn backdrops like ships and planets in the skybox around the map.

 

Campaign

1. Bring back remastered soundtrack.

2. Add music using more string instruments and choruses.
