Grouping Players w/ Mics Together... What If?

So it seems that every single time I enter Matchmaking there is never any mics on my team or the enemy team for that matter. What if 343i changed their MM search preferences to where it matched people who have mics plugged in with other people who have mics plugged in?

 

It seems to me that 100 matches full of mics would be better than 100,000 matches of 1-2 mics total per match. Would this be technologically feasible or possible?

I play with a mic but nobody seems to listen anyways. If I ever see you in game you will hear my voice. Normally I am doing call outs on the enemy team.

I think generally everybody could agree with this would be great but whether or not it is possible I do not know.

Just because someone has one on doesn't mean they will use it. I've run into this thousands of times over the years in MP.

with no incentive to win no one has there mic in unless there with friends out of the 500 games i've played maybe 50 of them people had mics. 50. Coh ftw

Got a guy in my clan who is deaf. Doesn't seem so cool to make sure he keeps getting disorganized randoms.

 

Also I hope you intend to distinguish between "has a mic and is ready to talk" and "has a mic and is in Xbox Live Paty Chat."

 

Back in Reach I remember they let you set preferences. I remember setting mine to "chatty" players because I wanted people with mics. Don't recall feeling it worked much one way or another.

I really wouldn't count on 343i to do something as complex as this.
