Like Master Chief, customized, also at the beginning before you choose a character you choose either the covenant, or human. For the covenant you can play as grunt or brute or elite. Not in Halo 4, hopefully a Halo game that's built in an open world, like a Red Faction: Guerrilla set in the Halo Universe, and like 10 times better.
