  1. Well, I did play a lot of Halo Reach during Christmas and we would host a Christmas-themed lobby in customs. Gametype was "Evil Santa" I think... If I remember correctly 'Santa' was a Red spartan with a gravity hammer and increased speed. 'Elves' (Players) Where bright green and tried to hide from Santa or else they would die and join the ranks of his 'Undead Army'. It worked kinda like Infection, but with a Christmas theme.. and all of the 'Santas' have gravity hammers. Elves had like plasma pistols or something... LOL.

Best games I received for Christmas? Borderlands 2, Fallout New Vegas, Sonic Generations (Which I actually loved), Halo 4, Pokemon Omega Ruby, etc, etc.

  2. I would go to Japan 100 years in the future. It would be amazing to see how far the world has grown from a tech standpoint.

Lol. Yeah, you were completely the originator and made it so fun. I'm trying to bring back your magic.

For your truth, if you had the chance to go on a date with anyone in history, who would it be with and why?

    Dare

I don't want to get you banned lol.

If you had to survive in isolation for 1 year, what book, cd, and food would you take with you to keep you sane?

Probably Taylor York, he's the lead guitarist of Paramore. ^_^

Winry, I dare you to say "I Love Peanut Butter" In the shoutbox!

  3. I was 9 years old when Halo 2 was released, but I didn't officially play it until 2005. (My step-brother owned an original Xbox and he would let us watch him play, but he'd get grumpy if we played it.. Not much of a sharer...) However my friend had Halo 2 at his house so we would all come over and play together! ^_^ I was terrible and died ALOT! :D Eventually my step-brother got bored of playing by himself so he would occasionally ask me if I wanted to play or join him, it was fun while it lasted.. we had Xbox Live for about a year and a half or so, mom shut off the internet because brother was getting bad grades in school. RIP

  4. Launch day: September 26, 2007. I flocked to my humble Xbox 360 to jump straight to the multiplayer after waiting patiently for it's release because Americans got it 1 day earlier (which was dumb.. but oh well.) Checked Bungie.net and noticed some employees joining in on the fun~ Found my second match since I bought the game and actually made it inside the lobby with I think 3 Bungie employees. So cool... I can't remember if they were wearing their flaming helmets or not... Not sure if that came out later or not. Anyway our team lost... BUT it was exciting to meet the employees.

P.S. I was terrible my first couple of games of Halo 3 because the new game mechanics were so different compared to Halo 2, so I must have looked bad.. XD.

If you make a thread about Reach I have some very funny stories to tell. :P

  5. The site has actually been around a bit longer than Twam's profile would suggest, as fairly early in the site's history we changed the software it was running: as a result, Twam appears to have 'joined' later than he actually did (this is also, for those curious, why he's isn't member number one).

That's really interesting! Thanks for the clarification Red! Learn something new everyday~

  6. When was this site created?

Twam's join date is 13 Jun 2011. Since he's the administrator this means he's the oldest member on the site, thus the site was founded on 13 Jun 2011.

EDIT: Waybackmachine has it recorded as of May, 5th 2011. It's the earliest recorded event of this site's history.
