  1. Antrum is staged as a cave used by the forerunners to pump resources from deep within the planet that is used on the Erosion canvas. Antrum is Latin for cavity or chamber, which is were I got the name. Antrum was my first attempt at map after a hiatus from forging. I've had no complaints so far, but I want criticism for my work, as it will only polish my forging skills. Antrum is also a modded map, by which it was modded by Lord Zedd (ddeZ droL is the map's author name, but same person), that I had downloaded. The only mods that are on this map are extra pipes and extra building blocks, but other than that the map was forged by me. The location is also great because there's more of an echo, making gunshots and other loud noises all the more dramatic sounding. The Pump house in a better view. This side path that flanks the Pump house, it's also one of Red team's respawns. Pretty much all pipes can be climbed on, with the exception of the pump house pipes, this tends to create a unique dynamic mix of close combat, and mid and long range shoot outs, thanks to the objects that can block line of site. There are also lots of obvious trick jumps on this map, but I like it, as it allows easier travel around the map. I also made the map a little interactive, as there's a breakable fence and a break-able platform that can cause foes to fall to their death. There are also many power positions on this map thanks to the many pipes, but this is balanced by the fact that there are so many power positions and line of site blockers, as well as the fact that all these power positions are exposed, with no cover. P.S. I'm also wanting to test Flood on this.
  2. Just thought I'd leave this Flood map here...http://www.343industries.org/forum/topic/27627-flood-bridge/#entry254264

  3. Who do you think you are I am?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

  4. New forge clan has been created! if anyone wants details, just PM me :>

  5. Rank is meaningless outside the first 50 levels (when you unlock your custom classes and everything else). You really only get (not even that good looking) armor sets, which are useless outside of aesthetics.
  6. Yeaaaah, not a big fan of the armor. I don't like the skin tight armor the Spartans wear, and pretty much 90 to 95% of the helmets look stupid. Please please please bring back the bulky armor.
  7. Map Name: Gauntlet File Share Gamertag: EquinoxOfTheSun Canvas Map: Forge Island Ideal Player Count: 4-8 I'd say Best Gametypes: Slayer Supported Gametypes: Slayer and Flood Status: Needs testing I was excited with the release of a Forge DLC, even moreso was the fact that the map was going to be HUGE. It all started off with a bit of screwing around with a few rocks, and I managed to create something I liked, so I built up from there. The map is asymmetrical (although in the shape of an oval eye), featuring two small bases and one main base in the middle. The map has three normal Warthogs and two mantises, both smaller bases having a warthog and a warthog by the large base. Each Mantis is placed by each smaller base, although not in it directly. Both smaller bases also has a Sniper Rifle. The middle base two floors. Screenshots: An overview of the map, there is a small, glass base near the cliff, and a small hallway on the back walls. One side of Red Base, both bases have two floors. The wall tunnel on the side. Blue base, although it has a tree in the way, there's another section, with a garage with a Warthog. A small, glass shed. I wonder what's in there? Probably nothing... One side of Red Base, the other side also has a ramp. Try and find the hidden "EASTER E", it's somewhere on the map (the E would be EGG, but not enough money).
  8. Is there any other picture of the Forerunners? Because the evil Didact's head looks kind of like flood biomass (the pale gray with the red organ-thingies coming out). Anyways, back to the main main topic, so...much...knowledge...so...many...holes in the story filled! Great job!
  9. Map Name: Solace Gamertag: EquinoxOfTheSun Best Gametypes: 1v1/2v2 So, I figured, I've already got Gauntlet done, why not make another? And I figured, well, I'll make this into my own map pack of sorts. This is the second of the three that has been done. It's really basic, and asymmetric. There's the giant L shaped building in the center of the map, with a tower on the side that has easy access up, and it has many ramps on the front and sides to make sure the lone structure isn't overpowering if someone is camping on it. I made big grass with the trees to give the map a sort of "kick" and this map also includes an Easter egg, only much harder to find Screenshots/Videos: The overview of Solace, it's got many natural qualities to it. Try and find this little Easter Egg Even though it clearly is NOT an Easter egg, it's still going to take a bit of searching. A look at the tower. While I really find it hard to create buildings, I think this came out nicely. It has a gravity lift at the bottom for easy access. While it has the verticality advantage, it doesn't have that much cover. A look at the front side, it has a lot of sight obstructing grass, and while you can shoot through it, it's hard to see straight. The backside of the map, this supports a natural ramp to get in to the building.

  11. Dead Space 3, well any of the Dead Space trilogy is good, Skyrim, and Fallout to name a few
  12. I've got some good forging skills Flood Bridge, Facility 117, and Gauntlet for references. My GT is EquinoxOfTheSun
  13. Map Name: Flood Bridge File Share Gamertag: EquinoxOfTheSun Canvas: Impact Status: It needs testing, I've only managed to do some limited testing. Ideal Player Count:I'd say a good 16 people Best Gametypes: Flood Supported Gametypes: Flood Flood - it brings back memories, especially the library from Halo CE! Fortunately, the playable Flood are nowhere near as intimidating, and sound like some weird horse. But that's not the point, I absolutely LOVE Flood. This map is really straightforward, more asymmetrical, and really the map is simple at best. Flood Bridge takes place on a nameless facility that has experienced chemical spills, and, unfortunately, the only survivors are those of a crashed Pelican. As I mentioned, survivors start out at a crashed Pelican, while the Flood start out at the other end, by some destroyed chemical silos. There is Ordnance on the map, and don't be afraid to explore the bridge area, you could find a nice spot to safeguard yourself On both sides of the bridge (towards Flood spawn) there are two elevators the Flood can use if they took the under-bridge. The Flood can get a little stuck, but the man cannon inside forces you up, even if you don't make it the first time. Pictures Not an exact full overview of the map, but it's the main part; the bridge itself. The crashed Pelican were the survivors start out at, there's not much here in the wreckage other than some crates and shelter... The crashed section of the under-bridge, this is the only area on the under-bridge the survivors can go to.
