  1. While I haven't had the headless people in swat yet, I have run into quite a large number of people who don't seem to take any damage. My accuracy is at the point where the majority of my kills are 4 shot br kills. I'm normally top of the leader boards and its pretty obvious somethings going on when you get into a game, your hitting them in the head and they just aren't dying. This guy I fought last night was rediculous. I didn't even manage to kill him once, nades had no effect (saw him walk through two well placed path blockers with no damage). He'd come around the corner and be two shots in as I'm firing my first (promethean lined up). Somehow managed to kill three people before dying several seconds later. Two of them had saws I had a BR, he had a BR. Another game that night in doubles my partner and I couldn't make a single kill on rail. Snapshot Headshot before anyone showed up every time. I've had this happen a number of times so I thought it was originally a framerate issue so I upgraded my xbox. (There are framerate issues with all new textured maps especially with splitscreen). Nope seems something else is letting them do it. My partner was so angry he just left and said he'd be off for a week. I report people who I think are cheating but it really seems like its just a drop in the bucket and no ones emptying the bucket. Its very disheartening since Halo 3 had pretty much the same problems and it was never fixed. Having not fixed these issues is one of the main reasons I won't be getting Halo 5. Oh and check this out, as I was looking to get my new xbox I ran across this among other similar ads. http://s7.postimg.org/5doysn8m3/xboxad.jpg You know its bad when things are this blatant.
  2. Being put into a losing game where its obvious the host is crap (which is probably why people left in the first place). Oh and the large number of people using lag switches. Not much of a ghosting issue these days, but people still use it pretty consistently when running around corners, right before taking two shots with a dmr, or grenades. Makes the DMR roughly a 3 hit kill combo then since the first two shots don't register until after they let go. Less if they have damage boost. Its pretty obvious when it happens but doesn't seem much is being done in that category, and before someone says " your connection is crap", I'd hardly call 8Gbps down 4Gbps up < 13ms ping for most games anywhere near that. Its a real problem and someone needs to do something about it.
  3. I've got three different loadouts depending on the maps. I rarely play big team slayer so the maps usually consist of Solace, Abandon, Adrift, Complex, and Haven and I choose my load-outs based on those maps. Name: "The Team Player" - Primary Weapon: Battle Rifle Secondary Weapon: Plasma Pistol Grenade: Plasma Armour Ability: Regeneration Field Tactical Package: Resupply Support upgrade: Explosives - Description: I generally use this when playing with people I know well. They know how the field works and coupled with the power of grenades lets you dish out some serious damage if you place it properly behind cover. On average my KD fluctuates between 1.5 and 2 if you play right so that's not an issue. Course being able to aim is everything. Most of the time I use this on Abandon and Solace. Name: "The Sniper" - Primary Weapon: DMR Secondary Weapon: Plasma Pistol Grenade: Plasma Armour Ability: Cloaking Tactical Package: AA Efficiency Support upgrade: Stealth - Description: My bread and butter build for Complex. Lets me remain cloaked most of the time letting me shoot from cover or stepping out of cover briefly without alerting the enemy. Plasma Pistol and Grenades make for an easy Banshee kill. DMR makes for easy 5 shot kills if the enemy is out in the open. Name: "Running Rampage" - Primary Weapon: Battle Rifle Secondary Weapon: Boltshot Grenade: Frag Armour Ability: Promethean Vision Tactical Package: AA Efficiency Support upgrade: Explosives - Description: My main build for Adrift, Haven, and sometime Abandon. Lets you quickly see where people are frequently letting you line your shots up before rounding a corner. Grenades get that extra oomph from being able to predict when the enemy rounds the corner. Oh and the mini shotgun is great for an offhand as long as you can aim.
