It should be only slayer, hence it being called Legendary "Slayer"...
Screw BTB and objective, they have their own playlists. We don't have a classic slayer playlist yet.
-
I don't see why people complain. I mean, the search times for matches is long, but the games themselves tend to be quite rewarding. The maps are great, the graphics are quite respectable. It is quite refreshing after playing Halo 4.
Another thing I don't get: people that use Assault Rifles in Slayer BRs. I know there are some instances where it SHOULD be used, but not all the time.
-
I decided to post this since we have a substantially larger amount of playlists than we did a few months ago.
That being said, I haven't really taken a shine to any of the newer playlists aside from Multi-team, which I gotta be in the mood for.
My favorite playlist handsdown is simple Infinity Slayer. It can be difficult sometimes when you search solo like I do, but since CSR came out I haven't run into as many "organized teams" like I used to screaming callouts and utterly destroying teams of randoms. I would play throwdown but Objective games get voted too often (I am strictly Slayer) Regicide used to be my favorite until they introduced forge maps (which I hate), and for some reason I can't get into Rumble Pit. I don't know why, considering I LOVE Lone Wolves in Halo 3 and still play it to this day. Must be the maps or something that don't chime well with me.
How about you?

Haven is probably one of the most stunning maps ever produced, visually. Of course that is opinion, but I find many echo that sentiment.
-
Out of those the AR.
You guys with your surpressors run out of ammo so fast because it is one of the least popular guns. You will be the only player in your lobby using one, so good luck finding ammo for pickup unlike the AR.
-
Makes no sense as the SR system isn't a skill-based system, it is more of a buy dew and doritos system.
-
Im bloody right Tornadoflame. Best thing is if 353i adds social playlists as is now. The casuals will never come back to this game no matter what tho. Its a shame. Games real fun and great really. Destroyed by all so called 'pure' Halo fans endless whining and ubercompetitive assholeness over a couple of months. That's all. Well done! I applaud you all *clap* *clap* *clap*
If there was a social playlist, casuals will still get raped by all the tryhards looking to clean house in the social playlist.
-
Beam Rifles should hav it's own gametype.
-
SR rank doesn't account for **** in this game.
-
Like I always say, they should have had dual SMGs instead of the SAW.

Uh, there won't be more variety. seeing as how everything is getting buffed (aside from DMR) the metagame will remain virtually unchanged. Just scaled in magnitude.
-
Ethics? In Halo? ROFLMAO! If I cared so much about not getting the easy kill, I wouldn't, nor would anyone be using guns like the DMR or Battle Rifle. Oh, and I sure as hell wouldn't call down any ordinance drops as that would give me an unfair advantage. Wouldn't want that.
LOL. Dirtiest player wins.
-
That has been out since the first few days after CSR came out. He didn't "just" fix anything.
-
Sorry, I was assuming you meant 4v4 cuz BTB isn't very MLG. I mean, don't get me wrong, there is skill in it. But I imagine if you want to improve your game you are talking about your 1v1 battles, which are more frequently found on Rumble Pit/Infinity Slayer.
Hit and Run tactics my friend, hit and run. That is what improves KD more than anything else. Knowing when to rush and when to retreat. Map positioning plays a big factor, of course.
The best advice I can give you is to get good with the BR and DMR. Those are the biggest killers, right there.
Here is a good, albeit overused class.
DMR
Magnum/BoltShot
Promethean Vision
Resupply
Explosives
Also, what control setting do you play on? Try Bumper Jumper if you haven't already. You will find the ability to jump and aim at the same time to be very valuable.
-
Like I said, playing with a Beam Rifle on team amulets is like playing swat while everyone else plays team snipers.
-
People should use quickcsr.com. Helluva lot faster than Waypoint. Everytime I load up Waypoint I am overcome with the strong urge to off myself.

People are allowed to complain, just as much as people are allowed to praise the game. If you have a problem with all the complaints, then that is your issue not ours. You aren't the first to post a topic like this and I doubt you will be the last.
And expect to see more complaints.

Halo 5 won't be like 3. We have already traveled down that road and we are stuck with the mechanics we have now.
Only thing we can hope for is a Halo 2 Anniversary.
-
We need more Small Maps. Forge Maps suck anyway, they always lag whenever you play on splitscreen. Turrible.
-
Cool, you're speaking for tens of thousands of gamers. Are you like, Legion or something from the bible? Like, a bunch of angry gamer souls in one vessel? I can only imagine all the complaints and perspiration.

I liked the beam rifle. The aim assist was so high it made me feel like I was actually good at snipi--I mean snapshotting. I guess that is what they are trying to prevent.

Glad to hear that. That means less DMRs and possibly more AR bumrushers, whom are easily dispatched by someone with a precision weapon and a decent shot.
-
I want to say it is because BTIS is more of a casual playlist. IS is rampant with competitive tryhards, even though I am one of them.
As far as I know, there are more Casuals than compeitive players, so there you go,

That is great.
Now we wait for them to implement them. Until then, I will be playing New Vegas.
Halo is DEAD!
in Halo 4

Halo isn't dead exactly, just severely beaten like an old lion being bested by a younger male for dominance in his pride. In this case, the younger male is CoD. CoD won't last either though; soon it'll go the way of Halo and not break past a population of 100K due to it being an outdated model for FPSs. Thing is, Cod doesn't change just like Halo wasn't for the longest time. That is why people shifted to COD, because it offered gamers people wanted. That complacency will work against it in the long run, however.
I have a feeling that Destiny, if done right, could take the throne on the top of the FPS food chain. It seems like it will combine the best aspects of competitive online gaming along with MMORPG aspects such as social interaction, character customization and development, open world exploration, and compelling story--things we could only dream of being present in a competitive shooter until now.. These are what FPS fans of the next generation want, the only reason we aren't there yet is because we are not ready for it, both with the hardware we have (360s and PS3s) and the gaming culture we currently live in. Once these new systems launch and we see what real gaming entertainment is like, CoD will be a thing of the past just like Halo is now.
