I liked it, and will no doubt put many hours into it, but it is not as entertaining as the past Halo games, and I find I tire of it much sooner than the others. Halo 4 lacks the character and depth of the previous games. There is no comic relief from other characters in the campaign. The graphics are awesome, and the shooting action is great, but the overall entertainment value is less because of the lack of depth of the other characters. It is now just a shooter game like all the others, where the past releases of Halo had stuff in them that always surprised you. Comments from other characters would surface that I had never heard before, even though I had hundreds of hours replaying the games. Cortana supplies a VERY minimal amount of negligible humor, but that's it. Overall I would give it a 3.7 out of 5 compared to the previous games.
