  1. Hey 343i Forums! Name's Ian! GT: AnExaltedPariah. Been a fan of Halo for quite a long time. I grew up playing Marathon actually... Played Halo 2 nonstop for the span of me owning my original Xbox... Followed with Halo 3, but fell off shortly after that... didn't take too well to ODST and Reach, personally... but I've always been a fan of Halo/Bungie at heart! Been loving Halo 4, so huge thanks to Bungie for making such a wonderful universe, and hats of to 343i for carrying the torch very well! And I hope to meet some cool people here on the forums! So, hi!
  2. I'm quite alright without the 1-50 system... I don't know... I used to love it, it made sense back in Halo 2 and 3, but for me one of the great appeals to Halo 4 this time around is just, in a way, being able to play it. It's all a load of fun, no matter what you're doing in it. Play the game, win some lose some, not worry about going up or down in rank. I guess a side note would be this is one of the few games I've been able to play with literally every friend I have, whenever anyone is on. Not saying I'm the best ever, but I play a lot with a select friends who also have as much time as me. So eventually we would get to the 45+ levels, then my other friends come online and want to just play normal Slayer, and then it becomes: well... we could... but they're a 20 so they don't have any fun playing against others who are 45+. I know there are always the Unranked lists, and as long as they're there than I guess my opinion is moot lol... but I really feel like the greatest appeal to Halo 4 is that every single aspect of it is for fun, not for "IM THE BEST HA". Just my opinion of course...
  3. It's nice to see some reason on the internet these days (even if it is rare... ). I like the points you're putting out there, and that you're not destroying 343i for their decisions. I was gonna make my own thread, but seeing as we share the mood of "good job with Halo 4! but, here's some advice..." I'll just join you here. Personally, I am loving this game to death. I have not enjoyed the multiplayer in a game this much in a very long time, I almost want to say since the good ol' times of Halo 2. So hats off to 343i for their excellent first shot at the Halo franchise! That being said though, the points you bring up are pretty justified, I think that only one primary rifle should be present in SWAT. It only seems balanced that way. Also, I seem to remember a time with Damage Resistance on in SWAT... it should take more than one melee to kill someone, and more than 3-4 shots that aren't headshots to kill as well. You're point with the DMR is my only disagreement. It doesn't bother me all that much... we are cyborg super soldiers after all... shooting is shooting, and recoil-less guns in Halo I don't mind... just my opinion of course. With CLASSIC Double Team... 1) any Double Team would be nice... and if not Classic Doubles, why not just Classic Slayer, er, anything really. The good ol' 4v4, no ordnance, no loadouts (DMR/BR on the map and such) but still radar and all that jazz (so not Slayer Pro lol). Only things I would add: 1) Bugs need to be looked at... quickly. Oddball on Complex, for example, is now a bother... 2) FLOOD LOADOUTS. We NEEEEED to be able to customize them again! I feel most of the custom game options in general are very much lacking from previous Halo titles... and that makes me quite sad... :'( Also... I too really loved the campaign! As I said, hats off to 343i for an overall great job!
