  1. Hello and welcome to the forum. I hope you enjoy your stay! Btw, i like the avatar picture you chose. (hence the like) - I'm not a big fan of British football, but i recognise the emblem!

  2. Yeah, it has been rather fun to have the three combating parties, technically with nothing more than the occasional (temporary) alliances between them. It will be cool to see a return of this since in the past two games (ODST and Reach) we've only had the two parties fighting each other. I always find the triple battles offer a more unique experience.

  3. Very cool map. I like the overall layout of the land, it offers a nice variety of different routes to take that allows players to manoeuver themselves more independantly. You've also got some nice structure building and weapon placement. I've also got to note that I like that underground tunnel, looks pretty sweet. Overall, nice map dude!

  4. I can see what you mean about the fact that the armour doesn't seem so sleek. I was a little worried about this originally, but after a little time it grows on you (atleast I think so). It's a different style than past Halo games, but I think it will still be cool.

  5. Lmao that is SO cheating xD

Lol, the Director's totally right. Anyways, I liked this episode. Seemed a little better than the first (but it's just my opinion) - I liked how there was a little more action in this one, but it only looks like its building up to an even bigger episode. Hopefully the battle scenes we saw in the [next time] preview will be in episode 3!

  6. Very cool map. I like the setting and the overall layout seems nicely made and puts the player within a believeable theme for infection. The only thing I could suggest would be to add a little more cover for the zombies, so they won't get slaughtered (although perhaps you've set up the teleporters to avoid this - I just can't tell from the pictures). Overall, great job on the map!

  7. Yea no ones been typing in the threads for quite some time. But yes I did use the gametype, and now that I think about it; I played a full lobby with really good players so it was a half and half situation. So it's good as it is if you don't really have the budget to fix anything. And when I meant, to like add crates. I meant to like have a different variety of crates. Like you used bridges I believe for crates, the same size(height, length, width, etc.), but you should have some kind of variety, is all I'm saying. It just feels like its getting repeated. So that's all I have to say, you can attempt to make the change if you'd like, but it's just a suggestion. Alright well maybe I'll see you in some Halo game some time. Peace!

Cool, I'm glad you were able to fully experience the map with the proper gametype. I'm sorry that I didn't totally get your box emeple earlier, but i see what you mean. Chances are I won't be able to change anything in this map, but I'll keep it in mind for future maps (probably on Halo 4). Anyways, thanks again for your support and feedback, it's always appreciated! :)

  8. I would have to say that I am loving the new themes for forge backgrounds. It's great that we now have a desert and no longer need to fake "space" atmospheres. However, I will need to agree with other players that the maps seem far too small for what I was expecting (at least from the videos we've seen). I am particularly worried about the grass map. The fact that the grassy area is so small and has specific hills (which will be present in everyone's map - if they build it there). Also, the fact that there's a giant forerunner-esque structure right next to it... I find it kind of takes away some opportunities to build some modern-period (as in regular city-scape maps). However, perhaps not everything has been unveiled to us yet. We will have to wait and see what awaits us within the Forge Worlds. I am excited for the final results!

  9. Lot's of people were complaining that 343 did a bad job in Anniversary and now they're gonna do a bad job in Halo 4. Well guess what? They weren't responsible for Anniversary! You see, Saber Interactive was the one who went in and remastered the details, 343 was just in charge of the programming and such. So those of you who think that they will do a bad job, you haven't even tasted their graphical skills yet, so your not to judge. Speaking of Saber Interactive, why don't we congratulate them as well! Even Certain Affinity deserves an applause for Anniversary! Anywho, We don't know how Halo 4 is going to roll out, even with all of this footage, you have to remember that the majority of the players that have already played Halo 4 are above average skill. Halo 4 is taking a different path from what we are used to, and that's the way it will stay. :)

Huh, that's pretty cool. I don't tend to do much research into who made what part of a game and who was just a producer, so I thank you for clarifiying all of this. Personnaly, I liked Halo Anniversary. It was simple, but acted as a nice reminder of simpler times. As for 343's graphical abilities, I can confidently say that from the videos and imagines we have seen, everything looks pretty cool. The gameplay seems solid and everything looks great on paper (well... on computer screen... but I think you get my point). Anyways, I'm excited to see their first official game and I'm pretty sure they'll do us proud. Thanks Rhino for starting this thread up, it really does clarify some things that I was not aware of. :)

  10. Welcome back Vitamin Pwn. Although I was not present during the period of your initial departure, I've heard great things about you on the forums and have myself seen your awesome participation, so I find I can say with confidence, welcome back and it's nice to meet you! :)

  11. Thanks for clearing that up a little bit Tallgeese. I was wondering about the specifics with that.

Yeah Tallgeese (I'm quoting Doc because I agree with him... and it's easier than quoting all of your explanations). Anyways, great job again giving us a very informative grouping of posts. I for one really appreciate all the work you put into helping the other players understand things about Halo 4. Thanks!

  12. In a way, it's too bad that we won't be able to select the exact amount of money we would want to use (instead of sometimes overpurchasing since we need - let's say (totally hypothetical) 2000 MP, but have to buy 4800 MP since that's all there is in the store) - However, I guess for that kind of system to work it would be necessary to do the transfers online with a bank/credit card account, so in comparison, Microsoft Points cards are more user-friendly, since people with only cash have the option to go our and purchase these pre-set cards. All in all, i guess it's for the best that there will not be a change.

  13. Yeah, the 10 are just for War Games and the other 3 revealed so far are for Forge. I really do hope at one point that they take into consideration submissions from the community - since, atleast for me, it feels like a free map-pack added to the game when we get all the community maps in matchmaking.
