  1.

He isnt talking about the amount of times his visor has appeared crack(which I believe is only the E3 2013 trailer if I recall which isnt regarded as canon because ya know trailers aren't normally regarded as canon unless stated or hinted otherwise ) he is talking that the #HuntTheTruth trailers are not canon. Which is correct.

I'm not saying the HtT trailers are canonical, he (and you) clearly stated that Chief had only had a cracked visor in the E3 2013 trailer, which is totally incorrect. It'd take being half blind to not notice Chief having a cracked visor in 99% of trailers at some point. It's almost confirmed Locke broke his visor.

It'd take a simple search on r/Halo to find dozens of images of Chief with his visor smashed, long after E3 2013. I'd attach one or two here, but iPad is awful.

  2.

E3 '13 was made mid-development when the guardian design wasn't final yet. All Hail/ The Cost aren't canon events - how could they be? They don't make any sense given the context of each other.

The only time his visor has been damaged in such a way was Escalation #10, and he's upgraded to GEN2 since then.

Plus, he is warned about Meridian before he goes AWOL, while on Argent Moon. Conclusion? He is declared AWOL after Meridian and the UNSC is covering their arses now they can't find him. And I also redact my prior statement about this being after Hunt the Truth.

You're 150% incorrect here, in many trailers and screens Chief is shown with a cracked visor, likely caused by his tussle with Locke (also shown).

  3. Hype levels are extreme right now as Hunt the Truth Season 2 will be releasing tomorrow, September 22nd, and a small preview clip is already here!

Hunt the Truth is a popular audio series companion to Halo 5: Guardians that is now awaiting it's second season, but that waiting seems to be coming to a close. TIME.com magazine released an article confirming the series' continuation tomorrow, September 22nd. They also released some new information and a preview clip to tease us. The preview clip contains FERO talking about how the season will focus on her side of the story now, Petra seemingly out of the way. Ben and Petra are both confirmed to return along with a few new faces, one of them played by the legendary Mark Hamill (The Joker). Season 2 will also be shorter than Season 1 but with slightly longer episodes to fill in that gap. FERO's story is now beginning as she tries to expose the secrets of ONI and the events of the colonies to the rest of the world. Her identity is still a mystery, but we've learned that she's most certainly someone we should trust, at least partially. I cannot wait for more information and I will update when we find out.

Honestly this question is not a good one or needed just look at Ek's recent news article. :troll:

Actually, I suggested for him to do a poll on this, because I feel it's a nice topic to debate about because both sides have a bit of truth to them.

What's my stance on it? I like the idea of playing and getting little packs that give you rewards and stuff, and I like that you can get it by progressing in any way that suits you. You can put forth the effort to level up, or play a lot of multiplayer, or even buy Mega Bloks and other related content to pick up some bonus rewards. No one's forcing you to even use the REQ system, you can handle just fine in Warzone with your trusty AR and pistol, but that's your choice.

Now what do I think for having to pay for them? Well, I'm fine with it if it's smaller pockets of money for a pack. Let's use maybe $1 for the basic back, $2 for the more advanced one, etc. Now, if you're paying $15+ for one pack, that's utterly ridiculous, and I'd encourage everyone to not do so.

There really is no right or wrong answer with how you feel about this matter, but REQs should not limit your experience whether you choose to purchase them or even use them. Those of you that don't like the idea are probably going to stick more to Arena. And yes, I do think there should be another way to unlock cosmetic items too.

If you defend Metal Gear Solid V's $100 coin packs, but feel this is ruining Halo, I only have one response for you:

  5. 343 Industries has cleared up a few things about the REQ system in Halo 5: Guardians, as well as shown a few pictures of new REQ Armours, Assassinations, and more!

It has been clear over the past few months that the REQ system plays a large part in the gameplay of Halo 5: Guardians, but some people were still very confused by the concept, so 343 decided to clear a few things up. A HaloWaypoint.com blog post showed off the two classes of REQ, which are Permenant and Single-Use. Permanent REQs are as the name says, permanent, and single-use REQs are once-per-game. All of these can be earned through REQ points after Arena and Warzone matches. REQ packs can be bought with real world money as well, but that is an optional feature. Items are grouped into five categories from rarest to least rare, as an example, Linda's sniper is a high tier weapon, and the SMG is a lower tier weapon. The three possible REQ packs come in three categories from most rewarding to least, and in different prices. You also get REQs from commendations and Spartan Rank-ups. Each week 343i will tease some new REQ cards in these blogs. If that isn't enough, they released a comedic video where Mister Chief (voiced by Nick Offerman) explains the system in a comedic manner, on YouTube.com.

Lately, a plethora of Halo related outside content has been releasing and extended universe content is now more integrated into the main games. So taking this information into account, would you like to see more extended universe content in the Halo universe in the future, such as books, television shows, etc. Or, would you prefer we stick to the games and avoid all those complicated side stories? Let us know down below! Next week at this time, Unease P34nut will recap your tally and give the next entry. Thanks for reading!

  7. A new trailer video documentary for Halo 5: Guardians has leaked onto the internet, and boy is it sweet and packed with new visuals!

Halo 5: Guardians is right on our heels with only a little over a month left to go before we can finally get our hands on the long awaited title. Movie-goers were shocked to see a new Halo 5 trailer release this weekend showing quite a few new cinematic visuals, so naturally someone recorded it and uploaded it to YouTube.com. The trailer shows off some new visuals of the Chief in better detail, as well as Osiris and the Arbiter. We see a shot in the sandy area of Sangheilios as the Arbiter seems to rally his troops. There are also a few scenes of Master Chief and Spartan Locke duking it out in a darkly lit room, and Chief seems to have the upper hand for most of them. There are a collection of other smaller details such as the two teams grouped together and Locke jumping off a platform, but the main focus of this trailer seems to be showing off the dynamics of the two teams within and against each other. I will update the article as soon as more details surface. I will also update with a more high definition image as soon as I get one.

  8. Joseph Staten's return to the Halo universe, Halo: Shadow of Intent, has had some new plot details revealed as well as a sleek cover photo.

A plethora of Halo novels were announced earlier this year, one of those being Shadow of Intent, written by former Bungie writer Joseph Staten. As revealed on HaloWaypoint.com, the book will center around Rtas 'Vadum, best known as Halfjaw and the Shipmaster. A prophet prelate threatens the existence of the sangheili species and it's up to Rtas to protect his people. Though that is the extent of the plot details, the cover shows Halo 2-era Rtas and a mysterious new female character side-by-side with energy swords (and staffs) in hand. The novel will release this December 7th, 2015 and you can pre-order it now.

  9. Recently Bethesda wrapped up their audio recording sessions for Fallout 4 and the final number is probably more massive than you were expecting!

Fallout 4 is an upcoming RPG open-world action game created by the profoundly popular studio known as Bethesda, the game has been widely anticipated and may secure a victory as Game of the Year when it releases. As reported on IGN.com, the Bethesda Game Studios twitter page tweeted that they recently finished recording all lines of dialog in the final game, and that the number was quite shocking. Over 111,000 lines have been recorded, 13,000 of those being credited to the main male and female voice actors. This is more lines than contained in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Fallout 3 if the two were combined, which is astonishing! As to what the dialog will be and how it will all pertain to the story and side-missions remains a mystery, and that's exactly how Pete Hines, vice president of Marketing and PR, says the company wants it. Fallout 4 releases on November 10th, 2015 for the Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
