Did you know Master Chiefs favorite weapon is the Assault Rifle, even over the fan favorite Battle Rifle? Thats one reason why you start with it in so many levels and matchmaking gamemodes.

Did you know that in Halo CE, Halo 2, and Halo 3 that a plasma grenade would not stick to a players crotch? If it was aimed at the crotch, it would either count as a miss and sail past the player or connect to the lower torso/inner thigh areas instead.
Wow didnt know that, but Spike grenades can definitely stick there.
"Is that a spike nade or are you just glad to see me?" =P

Actually, Bungie claims that the third shot going off on a random vector (which isn't really that random, it has a very low chance of landing inside the reticle, and a very high chance of landing just outside of the reticle) was a planned decision that they included to help balance the BR.
Thought I heard from Twin it was a glitch and thats why it was never changed.
DYK Plasma nades can bounce off players if the host is bad enough? It happened to me lol.

Are you aware that the Halo3 BR has several glitches, one of which causes the 3rd shot of the burst to go off on a random vector? Bungie was unable to fix it, much to the detriment of MLG pros and hardcore players.

If you get around to it, let me know what you think of them. I was just looking at a pair the other day, and was contemplating the purchase.
Following up on a simple review. I like them, they are comfortable and do a great job. The sound quality is great and the ability to change Base, game volume, and chat volume is great. A few things:
-the volume still comes out of the TV, so you have to mute it.
-the mic is super sensitive and will pic up voices across the room.
-the headphones do not contain sound very well, so if you have the volume up high anybody in the room can hear it.
-the wires can be obnoxious and if your using the old white 360 your going to sacrifice a wired controller USB port.
Even though it has those problems I really like it and would recommend it.

Everyone seems to use fancy headsets. I just use the Xbox 360 wireless mic, it works for me.
It works great for communication but I want to play the game sound through my headphones so im quieter for my family. Plus it allows for better sound whoring which can mean alot.

I recommend a Turtle Beach x31. It's what i use. Nearly completely wireless, game audio, only $80 from the official website, it's hard to go wrong.

Did you know Sargent Johnson was in the battle that started the war? He was on Harvest when the covenant sent brutes to try and retrieve forerunner artifacts (which failed).

like i said, completely lost faith in this community.
all theyve done since h2 was dumb down the game in hopes of targeting a wider range of players. they want people to play it for the first time and be good instead of working to find out tricks and strategies to give them the edge. which they've obviously succeeded in after reading these posts. they take out what makes halo special and conclusively this franchise will be continually beat to a pulp by other games. it's sad to see corporations sell out and stray away from what made people love the game. there's a reason people still play h2, not because of button combos in general but because the game was a work of art as a whole. button combos and the speed of the game were two of the many key components in halo 2, and without them halo will continue to be mediocre at best.
Also when i think of "cheap trick" i think of cheating to win. button combos werent a cheat since they were used in mlg. it was a commonly used ability, and since everyone who played the game eventually learned them it's not really putting anyone at a distinct advantage. if anything it should be compared to streetfighter. when you get pooped on because you dont know how to hadouken or whatever.

Just wondering but did you come here to intentionally piss people off because youve certainly made me angry and it looks like a few others as well.

Hey Ive decided to buy a decent headset and really dont know anything about the market. After looking around its pretty hard to find any good sites or good reviews apart from amazon.
If anybody knows any sites or knows a great headset please help me out. Im looking for:
-Game sound in the headset (so I dont have to use speakers)
-preferably wireless
-comfy
-cheap (always go cheap when buying new stuff!)

Did you know that Halsey did not create or train the Spartan-IIIs in any form? She was purposely excluded from the program, which is why shes so cold to their generation.

i could not agree any more and that sprint that is unlimited is not worth it and will turn the game into battle field but at least it is not cod
Well having limited sprint is gamebreaking for halo. Its very frustrating to be powerless because I was in a previous engagement and my opponent was not. As for saying itll make it like BF3, thats very untrue. Thats like claiming sprint made Halo more CoD-like.
Sprint should be default. No more, no less. Shouldn't be unlimited, but maybe it should have a slightly longer duration. And no shooting. That's just cheap.
Well why is it cheap? Its a new idea (atleast I think it is) but I cant see anything being "cheap" about it.

Player Count: 4-10, best at 8.
This is a railgun only FFA. The map includes two teleporters, two elevated platforms, an instant kill barrier outside the building, and a single line of sight blocker. It's designed so that players spawn into combat, sometimes looking directly at each other.
The gametype has only railguns with infinite ammo. Each player can beatdown and assassinate, which creates map flow by giving an incentive for players to flank. The scoring has been modified so players earn a point for each death, creating strange scores that people often comment on after playing. The lead player has a waypoint and overshield visual (not an actual overshield) so players know who to target. The spawns allow you to modified the gametype for teams or multi teams, although it is designed as a FFA.
