The Fusion confirmed Kyeong-Bo's passing in a tweet on the team's official account, saying the organization was "devastated and heartbroken" by the news. He was named the Overwatch League's Rookie of the Year for the 2020 season, chosen as a Role Star--the OWL's equivalent of an All-Pro team in the NFL or Gold Glove winners in Major League Baseball--and earned a nomination for Most Valuable Player. Multiple personalities from across the Overwatch League have shared their grief for Kyeong-Bo's passing on social media, including host Soe Gschwind, caster Mitch "UberShouts" Leslie, and commentator Alex "Goldenboy" Mendez. Other teams from the league also shared support, including the 2021 world champion Shanghai Dragons, the Los Angeles Gladiators--who Kyeong-Bo faced in his final Overwatch League appearance--and the Houston Outlaws.
