It appears as if we'll never get rid of the flood, they're in every damn Halo game, besides ODST...I think Even if it is Forerunners, they wouldn't attack us. We had a special place in their hearts and are considered to be descendants of them. Why else would they have placed a slipspace portal to the Ark in Africa?
