Wanted to kill the forerunners they wantsd the highest tech so the procursors build the flood and the forerunners build guilty spark and the sentinels ti kill anything that touched forerunner tech. Dude, just no. Elites didn't come around until hundreds of thousands of years after the Forerunner annihilated the Precursors. 343 Guilty Spark's main task was to Monitor Installation-04. His initial task is unknown. Sentinels were created to aid monitors, maintain Forerunner installations, and kill Flood. What makes you think he is telling the truth? Sure, he could be telling the truth. I don't see any motives for lying, but neither do I see any reason why he should tell the truth. Some mysterious automated ships entered our galaxy, carrying wierd capsules containing even wierder inert powder. The early humans' pet, Pheru was exposed to it, and somehow became infected. INACTIVE Posted May 31, 2012 Report Share Posted May 31, 2012 I believe that this is incorrect, if I remember correctly The Flood only made the humans believe that they were defeated but were in reality unaffected as it is impossible to "cure" the Flood.
