[GameSpot] - New Rainbow Six Siege Update Adds Custom Game Timers

A new patch is now live for Rainbow Six Siege on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S that adds timers to custom games and addresses a bunch of bugs. The patch notes are detailed below.

Players of online custom games can now adjust a game's timer during the Planning Phase of a match. The person who started the custom game lobby has access to the feature, which is preset to 10 minutes but can be changed in Rainbow Six Siege's menu settings.

The Y5S4.1 update makes a few changes to Rainbow Six Siege's operators as well. Aruni, the game's latest operator, can no longer pick up her Surya Laser Gate after it's been deployed on the western window at 1F Reception on the Kafe Dostoyevsky map. Meanwhile, the reworked Tachanka has been tweaked again. The update addresses the missing sound effects when he's using his weapon and also prevents his Shumikha Launcher projectiles from hitting invisible walls.
