[GameSpot] - The Division 2 Update 11 Introduces Gear Appearance Customization

Whenever Title Update 11 drops for The Division 2 on PC, PlayStation 4, Stadia, and Xbox One, you will be able to change the appearance of your gear with the new Transmogrification feature.

Also known as Appearance Mods, Transmogrification allows you to alter the look of your gear. This will let you achieve any desired aesthetic without messing with the gear's attributes. All gear types, from common Worn items to high-end Gold equipment, can have their looks changed to match any of the brands you acquired during play. Special gear like Exotics, however, can't be changed in any way. Additionally, other gear can't look like Exotics.

Still, all other manners of Transmogrifications are possible. To apply an Appearance Mod to your gear, you'll simply "Inspect" the item as if you were to customize it normally. From the "Inspect" menu, you'll see a new "Mod Appearance" option where you can apply any look you desire.
