Pokemon Go's third and final Ultra Unlock event of the summer, Unova Week, kicks off on August 14, and as part of the festivities, the Mythical Pokemon Genesect is returning to the game. The Paleozoic Pokemon will appear in five-star Raids throughout Unova Week, and you'll even have a chance to catch a Shiny Genesect. If you're hoping to add the Mythical Pokemon to your collection, we've rounded up some tips that will help you battle and catch Genesect below.

Genesect Raid Hours

Genesect will appear in five-star Raids throughout Unova Week, which runs from August 14 until 1 PM PT / 4 PM ET on August 21. This marks the first time the Mythical Pokemon will be available in standard Raids; previously, the only way to encounter it (if you missed its Special Research story event) was in EX Raids, which require an invitation to join.
