343iBot Posted June 30, 2020 Report Share Posted June 30, 2020 Season 3 of Fortnite: Chapter 2 may have only recently begun, but a lot has already changed in the hit battle royale game. Tying into the new season's water theme, developer Epic has announced the Fortnite Summer Splash, which will bring a slew of new and returning modes, skins, and more over the next few weeks. From now until the end of Season 3, Epic will be bringing back "refreshed classic" limited-time modes to the game, such as Fog of War (formerly known as Sneaky Silencers), Close Encounters, and Unvaulted. Epic says these LTMs will all get "some Summer Splash refreshment with some new features." In addition to the returning LTMs, Epic will also introduce new modes throughout the season. On top of a "new take" on Operation: Knockout, the studio teases "a reel 'em in royale" and a "game of elimination-powered upgrades."
