Need new inspirational competitive map ideas?

These days 80% of the forged competitive maps i find are half-rock-half-block type maps and mostly seem to resemble a boxed in space. I want to make maps that brake this chain and i already have but i need some cool ideas that mostly involve map structuring and design but can also include aesthetics. Ideas are greatly appreciated.

I always wanted to recreate certain campaign areas, like Regret from Halo 2 or the Composer area in H4, but I don't forge much. Maybe you could come up with a map that has some aspects from others games
