Machinga Posted August 29, 2011 Report Share Posted August 29, 2011 Yo guys i wrote a halo novel so i wanted to know who wanted to see it. I started this a few years back so some of the writing will be kiddish because i lacked writing skills back when. here is a chunk i wrote a year or two ago. Spartan 14 rattled off countless shells defending himself against the brutes that flooded the base. An invisible Brute came up behind him. He did a full 360 back flip and punched it in the back. There were five more invisible brutes coming in for him. He picked up a couple brute spikers and blasted them away with the remaining ammunition. He used the blades on the end of the guns to chop away at the final brutes. Then there was a huge crash and he could feel something. The ship wrenched and tipped somewhat to the right. Everything was going to fall down to the other side and sure enough it did. He dropped the weapons as they screeched falling down into the darkness of what had crashed below. He used his arms for leverage as he did a gainer to the top of a rail. The brutes yelled in hatred as they fell into the pile of things. Marines were also firing off their assault rifles as they fell. The brutes were winning until they would fall and the impact would kill them. The humans would already be suffering from battle wounds via brute spikers. None of this would matter any way because down below. It was not as deadly as it would seem from above. As some die on impact others fell into the flood. The flood would consume them and become stronger. As it arose the flood would eat anything in its wake.
