Personally I like my banshees a little more dominate and strong but I know why 343i did it. Do you remember Paradiso in Halo Reach where good banshee pilots could get kill-streaks of 80+ kills. I think that they wanted to prevent that in Halo 4. Now the banshee is more of a take to the skies rack up a couple of kills and potentially make a power move, and then get shot down.
