So I created a map called "Crashland" on Halo: Reach June 18, 2011. I had played it very little up untill now. I worked VERY hard on this map and it consumed my whole day. When I went to show my friends the map in "Custom Games", I selected "Crashland". However, the map desciption changed, the date stated: August 3, 2011, and the map variant read: "Back to Earth" (a map I created a few days ago). I went into the game in hopes of it just being a glitch, but unfourtunantley the map was completeley different. I attempted restarting my consle but the outcome did'nt change. As you could imagine I was very frusterated. The odd part of it was when I looked at it in my xbox hard drive, I saw the origonal file and the date stated June 18, 2011. I tried moving the file to another gamertag but it would'nt allow me.

Help! :(

Sorry to hear you lost your map, this happened to me too. I worked for days to perfect a couple of maps and lost them to the Forge bug also. Not much I could do. I lost them in the exact same way. I remember that I was browsing community maps, downloading them and then when I went to my map, it took me to another map and I could not retrieve my created map. It was a total waste of time and energy. Just when my map was somewhat perfect (in my opinion) too. Don't give up, make a new map and, be more careful about browsing and downloading.
