There are actually 4 levels of enrollment.

Alpha, Beta, Ring 3 and Ring 4. You can check which one you're in on the preview dashboard and check if you can "upgrade".

Logically Alpha recieves most recent updates but has the most bugs whilst Ring 4 gets fewer updates but is more stable.

Yeah Ring 3 is the highest it will let me choose.

Well get active and complete surveys and quests if you want acces to beta and/or alpha (if you want).

I'm in alpha and although the updates are rather frequent, there isn't anything that is console breaking in my experience.
