Whoa! There are WAY to many great games for me to pick just one!...
But if I had to pick, I would have to go with "Ocarina Of Time"... It is such a fun game, and it is even more a classic than Halo or Pokemon.
Now if I had to Pick just my favorite Halo game based solely on Campaign, I would have to go with either Halo 2 or Halo 3.

Somehow I feel like sometimes people forget to match their expectations with the reality and I do not exclude myself from that, we all do.
But its jsut sad to see that there is a group among us that cant be pleased by anything.
If 343 would have made a Halo like reach, these guys would have said: ,,I didnt like Reach, I dont like the AAs, this Halo is bad."
If 343 would have made a Halo like Halo 3 they would have said: ,, 343 is just doing what Bungie did, this Halo is just a Halo 3 rip-off."
So 343 decided to make a completely new approach to Halo and now these guys say: ,,his is not even Halo, this is Call of Halo or something like that". This is just a situation that no company could have solved or prevented.
I mean, come on, just be fair and let 343 grow with their tasks and let them evolve. And for this, tme is needed. So please give them the time that is needed to fully balance their approach to Halo.
By the way, noone has to decide between Halo and Destiny... Like DN2012 said, why not buy both and enjoy both?

Just imagine 343i as Patrick Stewart, and every time he says "William Shatner" in the video, just replace it with "Bungie"...

Noble 6 died on Reach, unable to see the victory his/her actions made possible.
Even if he did survive, the planet got glassed by the Covenant. There's no way possible he could have survived that.

- so...all it does is launch you into a soft kill zone?
I believe it launches you any direction randomly, in the beginning he launched up into the sky, and the second time he launched off to the side into the map boundaries... But you might be able to aim where you want to launch to, and even control the distance you travel.

Was hoping they would say, "The Xbox One will be just like the Xbox 360 just with, high quality parts and materiel's, better sound card, and graphics card, better Kinect, and a Next Gen Blu-Ray disc drive..."

I wanna invest time in Halo 4 to get all the Achievements, Commendations, Etc. but just getting in a car and driving down a street/sidewalk in GTA can make you wind up blowing through 3 or 4 hours in no time lol

You are completely right about the mystery being a big part of what made the first two games great. But I also just think there has been a continuing decline in the quality of the games. The gameplay doesn't change much except for a few tweaks here and there and some weapon changes. After a while anything will become stale no matter how good it once was.
Exactly! It is no one persons fault as an individual or even as a selective group. It is a combination of everyone's fault. No one likes to beat a dead horse... But that's what Microsoft is doing by having Activision/Treyarch/Infinity Ward/343i/Bunige make so many new games every year that its ridiculous! I mean now Call of duty is in Competition with itself! By having a New COD every year they make more money but they destroy the fan base and community of the games, and it causes a chain reaction that also tears down the entire genre...

I want Halo 5's forge mode to be like Halo Reach's forge, but with all of the new things Halo 4's forge mode added, like magnets, changeable skins, etc. And then add a bigger budget and give us three times as many object count for each item, and also give us a Time-of-day, and Weather editor, with more colored lights, and Special Effect orbs...

So basically you want a "First Person Shooter" version of Halo Wars. But you want the game to be like Halo 3: ODST and focus on the story of a Single marine and his or her accomplishments and mistakes during the Invasion of Planet Harvest... You want it to fill in all the blanks that "Halo Wars" failed to answer, and showcase a new story of a story that's already been told.
I see what your getting at... And I like it!

The only sure fix would be to remove it all together... But since that is never gonna happen (At least with Halo 4) we can all at least hope that 343i will remove it from Competitive/Classic playlists or Team oriented or Objective based ones.

People always say that "The older Halo's had a sense of Mystery and exploration, and discovery..." But what they don't realize is that when Halo CE and Halo 2 originally came out, there was no books, or novels, or Movies/Shows, all there was to understand the story was a the games themselves... Halo was new to us. In Halo CE I was thinking "Where is planet earth? What does Earth look like in the 25th century? Who are these so called Covenant? Who built this Halo ring? What do the forerunners look like? Where did the flood originate from and why are they contained on this ring? Is Master Chief a Android or a Cyborg, or a Human in a Suit? What is the Pillar of Autumn's Secret Cargo? And Why is that floating light-bulb (Guilty Spark) so surprised, and grateful to see another living person?"... At the time there was no answers for these questions, which is (In my opinion) what made Halo what it was, and made the games good, and it is what gave them there uniqueness...
The minute that these questions were answered, the novelty wore off and the games lost their uniqueness, mysteriousness, and charm. So things are better left unsaid, or Unanswered. And in Halo's case the less we know about anything, the better.
We know who/what Spartans are, we know what Earth looks like, we know who Master Chief is, we know about the flood, and the Covenant, and the forerunners and now we even know about the Promethean's... Halo can never be what it used to be, or go back to what it once was, because we know to much... The only way Halo CE is even mysterious anymore is if we erase our memories and play it for the first time, Again. (Without reading the books, or watching Halo Legends, etc first)...

please let this be a beta test and blow Halo 5 out of the park, other wise i'll have sell halo and move on to fighting and anime based games. My hardest achievement so far is "Tying Up Loose Ends" From Halo: Combate Evolved Anniversary.
Kill every single elite on the level keyes on heroic or higher.
The darn whippersnappers kept running from me!!!
Yeah that one was tough... It took me four tries. The first time I just did a complete playthrough on Heroic to see the new graphics and audio, then second time I went for the achievement but missed all but ONE elite. On the the third try one of the Elites stuck one of the other elites and betrayed him, right near the end to... I was so frustrated that I laughed until I cried for 4 days and 4 nights straight lol... And finally one the fourth try I got it!

Well, I welcome you to our forums. Its a rather close-nit community, and as you can see, we tend to be protective over each other. Even if that mean's not understanding a new person. But if you take a look around, you'll soon realize not all of us are armed to the teeth. There are allot of very friendly people here.
It may take some time for few us to warm up to, but dont worry, allot of us will also welcome you with open arms.
