That's really all that needs to be said. Without bias on either side or arguing about which one you like more. Facts are facts. DMR fires faster (Kills faster) than all starting weapons in the game.

You can continue to defend either one. But the facts are there. Instead of going on and on about how the DMR is balanced... How about we get the weapons balanced and actually compete in the same arena to see which weapons are better.
Carbine (Should be the fastest killing and highest skill curve is used right)
DMR is a marksman weapon for medium to long range.
BR is supposed to be the Close/Medium range killing machine.
LightRifle is supposed to be a mix of the other three.
DMR wins all the battles in perfect scenario's. Maybe in unskilled hands or a good strafe in a close fight might be able to get you a win with without using the DMR. But that is pretty much it. Stop being such fanboys and have some objectivity towards these issues.
