Having the same issue. I didn't even know you got anything other than an acheivement for Legendary until I saw the Mark VI armor in Slayer. Didn't know there was an issue until I looked up how to get it and realized it was something I had already done. It eventually led me here. Checked my commendations, it says I've only completed Requiem on legendary. Not cool.
