    Would it not take away from the last spartan "image" I think it would be a major story turner as you would then have to incorporate them in the story thus changing the chiefs belief that he is the last one

    Aww man I agree with OP, why did they do this? The original infection was awesome now it's annoying, plus the maps are very poor IMO

    She'll be back in the game no problem , but not as she was before , she'll be in the forerunner system or have become some super AI , or something like that , I can see the chief going lone wolf in the next game (halo5) since its suppose to be a dark game , but I doubt they will remove her completely , Im afraid that 343 will do something silly with the lore like have more stupid space magic in the game, it broke me to see cortana "die" but I'm sure she'll be back , wheather she will be the same that is the question

    I think 343 has got the "not so good" end of the story" think about it bungie gotto tell the human covenant war story , which was epic as I think the covenant is a great enemy and well crafted (kudos to whoever invented them ) 343 got the after math , no more covenant . I'm disappointed because I feel as of we are getting a more supernatural / space magic type of game , we're we have races which are dead for thousands of years influencing the present it just ruins the game , halo isn't about space magic Harry potter stuff it's about a supersoldier defending earth with his AI companion

    Is it just me or is the Diadect slighty silly looking? I mean he isn't the most bad ass enemy the chief has every faced . Easily killed and looked like a vampire crossed with a bird

    Possibly , at the end of the credits ( the bit were he is talking) I wonder who he is talking to possibly forerunners ? Should be interesting to find out

    Yes the knights were formally humans until the diadect turned them into machines (the knights) using the composer. He did this as he believed it was the only way to stop the flood ( as they can't infect machines) But the diadect was imprisioned with his knights by the forerunners. Then we see him in halo 4 returning to once again turn humans into knights
