If he indeed would make an appearance, I certainly hope not it's simply done to achieve a certain level of "fan squee" from the players. If there is no valid reason for him to show up, whether in the campaign or Spartan Ops or both, then don't have him in the game at all.

To date, H2 has the greatest of all Campaigns, story structure was perfect, it was smooth and gave birth to one of the most iconic Halo characters around.
You mean that campaign which was rather short and ended with an abrupt cliffhanger, which also distracted one from the main point of the game, and ultimately 'failed' to execute the political intrigues that took place in the game?
I think the 'smoking part' is the other way around here.

Pretty sure every Halo game on Legendary have made me die more than once. Don't know which one I have most deaths, and too lazy to check out.

Didn't like it.
Since you didn't follow the 'three act structure' that is commonly used for trailers, it was simply a "mash up" of different excerpts of Halo and had no real focus. Also the editing was pretty poor.
This is just my personal opinion, so take it with a grain of salt.

Since Halo:CE doesn't take place in Australia, and the (rock) mountain is hardly visible enough to judge it as Ayers Rock; I'm pretty certain it's just a random rock mountain.

Pretty certain they are Spartan IVs aboard the Infinity. Though in case you like to speculate, it has been stated that the Spartans in Spartan Ops will interact with Master Chief during the campaign, though not exactly how. Though I'm pretty sure it won't be your Spartan from the game mode.

I have to admit, I'm very interested in what kind of direction the developers will go with putting Washington as a king. If done right, it can turn out to be a very intriguing plot element, but I truly hope it won't have anything to do with him wanting to take over the world. Though naturally it would depend on his reasons for doing so, whether they are reasonable or not.
I'm skeptical over how they'll execute it, but I do admit I'm excited. Can't wait.

I'm guessing this is the redesigned Elephant that appears in Halo 4.
Whether it appears in MM or Forge, or if it's even drivable, no clue.

I must say Halo 3. While I have more game time on Reach, and enjoyed the gameplay more, it's ultimately all the fond memories I have with Halo 3 that makes it my personal favorite.

Agreed.
It's sad that people can't be as objective as possible when posting which game is better for X amount of reasons.
