I'm sick of your false assumptions and your invalid arguments. You seem to be the only one that can't seem to handle ONE single teammate quitting in the beginning of the match regardless of the JIP system that will replace him. I'm through arguing with you now. Me and other people have tried to make some good points with you so you can understand why the teams are sometimes uneven, but no, you don't seem to realize the JIP system that can easily replace them. There is several people on this forum who don't seem to understand why the JIP system was made. I understand that you do not like uneven teams because it's your opinion, but I am trying tell you that the teams will momentarily be rebalanced and even again if you wait a few seconds. The only thing I agree with is that the JIP system is broken, it just needs some tweeking. I also admit that I went a little bit too excessive with the insults and flaming, but I need you to understand what I am trying to tell you. I'm sorry if we're offending you, but we just need you to understand what we're trying to say.
-
What you just said does not make any sense, whatsoever.
-
I didn't really feel like countering your points because I didn't want this to turn into a big flame war over a JIP system.
-
I laugh every single time you made a false assumption that I get banned from games. You're such a dumb monkey, yiou know that? Now don't get too excessive with the insults and the assumptions. KK?

This is what I've been trying to tell Cortar, but he doesn't seem to understand this. He even idiotically mentioned that the game starts, regardless of who left. Does he really think the game is going to just sit for half a minute, ready to start the game because 2 players left? This guy is such a dummy. There is a 'Join Session In Progress' for a reason. Also, he even thinks that even though we have the JIP system, we still need to be punished. How dumb can he be? No game should have a quit penalty for ANY reason. Sure, some people might ragequit, but they only do it so they won't get angry and slap their xbox, sometimes physically scratching the disk. Cortar, you are a stinking idiot. Whether or not ragequitting is unacceptable, nobody is going to be punished for it because the issue has been resolved. Also, a 'inherently broken' system CAN be tweeked. All they have to do is make it so you don't just join a game that is 90% from being over. If you have the patience to wait until another player joined the game, you will know that no penalty is needed for quitting. 343 Industries isn't in the business of virtual game truancy suppression. I'm not even going to call you an idiot anymore. I'm just going to call you a 'dumbass'. Thanks. Edit: I'm sorry if I'm offending you, but please, I need you to understand that nobody needs to be punished for quitting anymore.

Bungie obviously never attempted to use a 'Join Session In Progress' because they were too lazy. All they did was make a pointless, useless, and severely-broken quit ban that just punishes players for quitting. There are one of three things people don't realize: 1. You cannot technically, legally, and graphically going to stop people from quitting, even if you punish them via ban. 2. The 'join session in progess' is the only way to guarantee a possibility to win if a teammate quits. There is no game that should have a quit penalty other than a deduction of your XP or a dropped rank. 3. Just punishing players for quitting a multiplayer match is like punishing someone for not finishing their Big Mac they brought from Mcdonalds. No matter what you do, there will always be quitters whether you like it or not. Bungie attempt to eliminate quitters failed because they failed to realize the only way to help the people complaining is to rebalance the teams. The people who are defending the lack of a JIP system or basically saying Halo doesn't 'need' it obviously never had a single teammate quit on him in the middle of a matchmaking game. Those people probably been playing Halo so much that they have to get used to the new system. The JIP does need some tweeking, but not removed.

1) Idiot 2) Idiot 3) Idiot, I like it, other people like it. I've stated it in many threads: It just needs some tweeking 4) What in the damned HELL are you talking about? What you've stated doesn't even make sense! In Halo 3, if a leaver leaves in the pre-game lobby, the game starts uneven idiot. 5) Idiot, you are the immature one. As I said before (which you idiotically didn't get), not everybody is going to be able to play a second match. Again, there is a 'Join Session In Progress' made so those 'leavers' will quickly be replaced. Seriously, you are the one who don't know how game mechanics work and how life works. I'm not a game maker (I'm a 17-year old high school junior), but if you expect everyone to stay in the lobby even though they can now be replaced, you have some serious mental issues.

Let me give you a big fact 'No': Why? Because most games will fall under the following set standards: Player gets kicked because he has no microphone Player gets kicked because he doesn't speak Player gets kicked because he picked up a power weapon that someone else wanted Player gets kicked because he picked up a weapon that someone else wanted Player gets kicked based off his skill Player gets kicked because he's an underage gamer Player gets kicked because of a certain action he did that everyone else didn't agree with Player gets kicked because he's below SR10 Player gets kicked because he stole someone elses kill Player gets kicked after he gets accused of lagging Player gets kicked for accidentally killing his teammate Player gets kicked because he 'inappropriately used <insert weapon here> Player gets kicked because he's from <insert country, city, or state here> Player gets kicked for no absolute reason at all If anything, there should be an automatic boot system that kicks teamkillers and griefers.
-
Idiot, you just posted why you believed why friendly fire shouldn't be disabled. If friendly fire was disabled, you wouldn't have to 'kill griefers' Also, all your guesses and assumptions are wrong. Why would I think it's perfectly ok to just shoot ANY of your teammates? I never said that, I just said that it's not okay to defend friendly fire because you wouldn't have to kill griefers. You should be saying that there should be an automated boot feature that kicks teamkillers so you wouldn't risk getting booted yourself by just seeking revenge on griefers. You don't even know if that 'griefer' was intending to grief or not. One more thing: Yes, I am perfectly okay with sticking a grenade at your teammate sprinting into a room with enemies as long as the teammate is unharmed, which indicates that friendly fire is disabled. If that teammate didn't take any damage, then that would NOT be okay.
-
Actually, it just needs some tweeking so you won't get put in a match that's 90% from being finished (via score AND time constraints)
-
These two people are complete dumbasses. They obviously don't know what a 'smooth, friendly' match is. What makes them think that team killing is needed in this game? What's next? They're going to say that there shouldn't be betrayal booting or in fact, a feature that boots teamkillers period? Or they could be the complete R-tards who enjoy teamkilling people. Either way, these two have no common sense.
-
I've never had a urgent issue with teammates. The only problem I have is that some of them don't know how to drive a warthog properly and how some people like to run off with the warthog, regardless of who's trying to get in the best available seat.
-
You do realize that some people are not always going to be able to play 2 or more matches, right? Secondly, how do you know they even WANT to play a second match? Thirdly, there is something called 'Join Session In Progress' that was implemented in this game, you realized that to, right? Fourthly, there is always going to be games that start uneven and there is absolutely no way to circumvent that fact. If YOU had the patience to play the game for an extra minute and give someone a time to join, then maybe your problem will be solved. Fifthly, calling people a bunch of '8-year olds' is very immature and is not helping anybody. Just because they quit a match (in-game or lobby) doesn't make them an 8-year old. Are YOU an 8-year old freak who don't know nothing about game mechanics. Didn't think so. This person doesn't have the patience himself and doesn't know how joining matches work. Thanks.

WARNING: This thread does NOT intend to offend or provoke anyone nor the topic at hand. If you cannot handle World War III being mentioned on a community forum not dedicated to politics, you need to click the 'Back' Button now. Not always true, but sometimes when you play Big Team Infinity Slayer, the entire game turns into World War 3 with air vehicles being used every single time it spawns, power weapons being occasionally shot, and it even gets even more intense as players combat each other incidently. The same thing also applied to several servers in Halo: PC that had an infinite amount of grenades, tanks, and banshees. It turns into a normal deathmatch into a World War. I have no proof confirming this, so you might believe me or you might not. Anyone opinions on this theory?

Most kills: 27 Least deaths: 4 NOTE: Not including the games in which I've joined in progress.

Did you know that they have sources?

I've been reading both Halopedia and Halo Nation lately and I have discovered that Halo 4 Multiplayer could be canon. Here is why: Halo 4 Multiplayer is different from the multiplayer seen in Halo: Reach, Halo 3, Halo 3: Mythic, Halo 2, and Halo CE as well as Halo Wars. Its main setting takes place in the SPARTAN-IV program training deck of the UNSC Infinity. Each portion of it (including Spartan Ops, War Games, and Forge) are there as a canonical explanation for Halo 4. Halo 4 Multiplayer could dictate how one advance in the SPARTAN-IV program since it is a combat training program dedicated to the UNSC Infinity. Don't believe me? Check the links below: http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/War_Games http://www.halopedia.org/Infinity_(mode) What do yall think?

No, Vote to boot worked well in L4D because that was a game full of idiotic, stupid, sagged-like douches who get angry when things don't go their way. We need an automated boot system that boots players who go AFK.
-
If anything, I believe that the JIP system should be tweeked so it doesn't put you in a game that's 75% from being over, even if you are winning.

Tried to join several game tonight, here is what I get: 1. Tried to join a match on Infinity slayer too many splitscreeners on the opposing team 2. Tried to join another match, game put me in a session in progress. 3. Tried to join another match, game put me in a session in progress. 4. Tried to join another match, game put my in a session in progress. ^steps 2-4 repeat until I decide to try another playlist 5. Tried to join a match on Dominion, some dumbass retard didn't know how to drive a ******* warthog 6. Tried to join a match on Dominion, too many splitscreeners on my team + discovered my loadouts reset after I repeatedly resetted the game 7. Tried to join a match on Dominion, someone decided to quit because he didn't get the map he wanted. Getting irritated how I have to go through this when trying to find ONE friendly game of matchmaking. Suggestions? -Make Joining Session In Progress OPTIONAL so we wouldn't have to manually return to dashboard SEVERAL times in order to get a game from a beginning -Create an option disabling splitscreeners (I will not play with or against a team consisting of splitscreeners) -Learn how to ******* operate a Warthog (directed towards the community) -Learn that you can't always get what you want (directed towards the community) So, I just ragequit and said 'Well, the virtual game environment won't let me play a comfortable match without having to reset the game billions of times to get the perfect setting and then deal with having to remake your loadouts due to a glitch that nobody probably even knows about'

Damn, made a mistake.

When playing Capture the Flag, do you defend the flag or do you capture the other team's flag?
-
What is your favorite playlist? What is your least favorite playlist? What playlist do you want to return in Halo 4? What playlist idea do you have? Here's mine: Most favorite: 1. Big Team Infinity Slayer - Big Teams, Big Battle. It feels like World War 2 on this game mode, with the vehicles, tanks, mantis, and the ridiclously overpowered weapons. 2. Capture the Flag - It's always been a pleasure to try to offend or defend a flag and this is my second favorite game mode in Halo 4 and Halo: CE. The only problem is that you can unwittingly pick up a flag than be forced to return to the base. 3. King of the Hill - I don't try to play this mode often, but it's often about battling for controlling the hill. Least Favorite 1. Team Snipers - Always hated Snipers. I've played this mode once and did seemingly well on it. But the fact that Snipers are overpowered and hard to freakin' aim with, I don't like Team Snpers. 2. Team SWAT - Hated the fact that an enemy can sneak up on you without thinking, then have problems doing the reverse. Team SWAT sucks balls in my opinion. 3. Team Slayer Pro - Without motion trackers, I often have to play a little game of 'Hide and Seek' with the enemy. Wish List 1. Multi-Team - I always loved fighting 4 other teams. This time, I want it to be up to 16 players, make it more like a Spartan Civil War. Also, don't put 'Race' nor 'Assault' in it, that's kind of boring. 2. Big Team Objective - This was not a playlist in other games, but since there is a Big Team Infinity Slayer, I thoughty there should be a Big Team Objective. Your turn.
-
There's a problem with your idea: That'll just discourage players from getting kills in the game. In all multiplayer matches in any video game, players should receive points or at least rewarded for their kills. Also, Halo: Reach and 3 never scored players on their skills. Each remained 0 until you complete the objective. Again, I am 98% sure some players want to support their team by getting kills and providing covering fire so that others who are willing to do the objective can succeed. However, you can't just demand that players stay on Slayer if they wish to kill and not to do the objective as you (and the game developers) can't make a virtual game policy that requires players to play by a certain strategy. When you buy a game, you have a full right to play it however you want as long as you are not violating the Terms of Use, which does not say that you must stick to the objective. Are you even aware of what your teammates are doing? Some of them could be trying to get the flag. Some of them (like I said) could be supporting their teammates. You're just taking it way too personnel. If you're thinking about a kick feature, then you're absolutely taking the game too seriously. You're going to get stupid teammates. I've dealt with stupid teammates that just run off in the Warthog, even after you tried telling them you are a ride. This has been going on every since multiplayer gaming was invented and published. The only gaming community that has no excuse for their inappropriate behavior is the Left 4 Dead community.
