  1. Corrosion is an asymmetric Dominion map on the erosion forge canvas. It is an abandoned pumping facility inspired by Longbow. The map also supports extraction, ctf, and slayer.

  2. This map has some clean forging and an interesting concepts. But it does have a lot of issues.

    It seems that the sight-lines are way to open. Turrets overlooking base terminals is never a good idea. Also spawning and the bases themselves are far too open.

    Does this map include objective drops ( drops based on the resupply timers of bases)? Random drops do not work in dominion.

    Sorry I'm late with the new requirements :(.

    You have some interesting structures, and I'm glad you used the default dominion gametype.

     

    I've looked over your map in forge. I agree with tortas feed back. Your map has 4 dom capture zones which disqualifies it from being a thfe feature.

    I hope you can consolidate your map to 3 bases as well as fix the lighting glitch. Then it can compete for a thfe feature

    All Dominion Submissions Must

    • Have only 3 bases
    • Use only the default dominion gametype
    • Custom game types will Not be accepted
    • Map must be playable or complete, but still may be open to beta testing
    • Have at least one objective drop per base
    • An up to date version available in the author's file-share
    • At least 2 entrances per base
    • Some form of alpha/charlie segmentation
    • Movement options between alpha and charlie, outside of bravo control
    • Must have "playable" framerate preformance
    • Must not have the lighting glitch
    • No mods
    • Maps can only be built on 1 of the 3 canvas forge maps.(erosion, impact, ravine)
    • Please provide a filshare link and at least 1 pic of your map

    Submissions will not be accepted if any above bullet point is not met.

    Recommendations
    These points are not required, but they are recommended.

    • 3 objective drops per base
    • At least 1 sentry turret per base
    • Base/ turret monitors for each base
    • Spawning based on objective control ex:base res zones
    • Base shields
    • Fortifying barricades/antennas
    • Human drops = dmr, br, frag, rockets, sniper, laser, saw, shotgun
    • Promethean/ human drops = saw, binary, incineration cannon, pulse grenade, plasma grenade, scattershot, lightrifle, suppressor
    • Each base has at least 1 vehicle pad
    • All objective drops are the same set
    • Drops match theme of map

    Maps will be judged against the current matchmaking maps. (vortex, longbow, meltdown, exile, shatter)
    Feel free to provide submissions proper feedback. Matchmaking style and quality, is the goal here ladies and gentleman.

  5. ya im also super excited for halo 4. I'm trying to wrap up the final invasion features in the next few weeks, so post your submissions and I'll check them out. I may not post often but I'm always lurking lol.

    I'm planning on doing mainly dominion and extraction map features for halo 4. During which I'll be much more proactive with forgers on this forum, so we can get some gems asap.
