  1. Assuming you're a child (which you probably are) You don't realize how much goes into making a game. $40 is a really good deal, especially considering everything you get with the game. Personally, I'd pay $100 for a Halo:CE remake, and we're getting it for only $40. Stop complaining.
  2. Thinking this, or that Sergeant Forge is John, Spartan-117 is pure idiocy.
  3. Two Betrayals for me. Would have been Assault on the Control Room, but that opening cinematic for Two Betrayals is amazing. Not only do you learn Halos true purpose, but now, not only do you have to fight the Covenant and the Flood, but Guilty Spark and his sentinels. I remember being 13 yrs old, and just having my mind blown that a video game could produce this much story, and still keep you guessing.
  4. The only reason it looks skinny is because of the first person fov. It's essentially the same model, just the way it's being held gives it the appearance of looking skinny. You're basically seeing a top view of the gun, whereas in other games in the series, it's more of a rear view of the gun. Hope I explained that in a way that made sense.
  5. Basically, the remastered maps from Halo:CE will be added to Reach multiplayer. There's no separate multiplayer for Halo:Anniversary (although that would be amazing)
  6. You mean the Halo 3 models that were based off the Halo:CE models? Those ones? The Reach models were simply placeholders, as the game was still heavily in development.
  7. I thought this was common knowledge to anyone who's been following this game... Guess not. Here ya go, champ. Took 2 seconds on google.
  8. Why do you keep arguing with him? He said he's played Halo 2, but doesn' like it enough to play through it again. How does his decision impact your life in any way? Personally, I don't agree with him either, but I respect his opinion. He doesn't HAVE to like every game in the series. You come off as very immature and childish. That being said, I've been a fan of Halo since the beginning, and I think the fans like myself are the ones who can appreciate the series the most, since we were around from the start.
  9. I feel like I'm 13 years old again. I can't wait to play Assault on the Control Room. There's really nothing I can say to express how happy I am for this. Nostalgia at its best.
  10. Just stumbled across this and thought I'd share. Had to change my pants after watching this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-MPLdc_84vI
  11. My point is that they still had to go in and re-model and re-texture everything, along with remaster the sounds and music. Not an easy task.
  12. That's because it is the same as CE... They still had to go and remake the game from scratch on the Reach engine.
  13. Just a remake of Halo:CE? I guess you don't realize how much goes into making a game-even if it's just a remake. This is their test to show whether or not they have what it takes to make a great game, and from what I've seen so far, they're going in the right direction. You make it seem like remaking a game is a piece of cake. Some other developer could have taken in this task, and ended up making a disaster. It's not a simple as just slapping on a new graphics layer.
