@  Twinreaper : (17 July 2018 - 11:47 AM) Truth be told, I just started recently to notice how bland and plain the skyboxes in Destiny 2 are, because everything else is so beautiful and detailed and expansive that you dont really take notice of the sky.
@  Twinreaper : (17 July 2018 - 11:46 AM) You can only look out into skyboxes so much...
@  Twinreaper : (17 July 2018 - 11:45 AM) The snese of being somewhere truly expansive and overwhelming?
@  Twinreaper : (17 July 2018 - 11:45 AM) Here's what I never did like about Halo or standard campaigns in general. It never felt natural. No matter what, you always started off exactly where you needed to be. there was no getting lost or side tracked. I realize a story is being told, but where are the mishaps? The wrong turns?
@  Twinreaper : (17 July 2018 - 11:42 AM) 343 already did the whole CoD gameplay mechanic copy and paste, why not just go full fledged Open World style at this point?
@  Twinreaper : (17 July 2018 - 11:41 AM) I dont care what anyone says.... if you took Mass Effect, Destiny or the new game Anthem (coming 2019) and replaced it with all content items from the Halo Universe..... that **** would seel like hotcakes!!!
@  Twinreaper : (17 July 2018 - 11:38 AM) of coarse players who have the absolute best luck in the game, will never see anything wrong with the system.
@  Twinreaper : (17 July 2018 - 11:37 AM) Gut's comments on how good the REQ system is, negates his good idea for Vid master
@  UNSC Spartan-II : (17 July 2018 - 10:25 AM) Love Guts' suggestion of bringing back Vidmaster challenges, those were great in Halo 3 and ODST.
@  UNSC Spartan-II : (17 July 2018 - 10:24 AM) I would love for 343 to go back to Halo 3's way, or at least Halo: Reach or Halo 4's way.
@  UNSC Spartan-II : (17 July 2018 - 10:24 AM) I don't even think it should be reworked in anyway. There's no way to work for specifically what you want, RNG reward systems are a massive failure for Halo. They were perfect for Mass Effect 3's multiplayer (one of the best multiplayers I've seen in my life), but horrible for Halo.
@  UNSC Spartan-II : (17 July 2018 - 10:22 AM) The more I think about it, the more I realise how much I don't want the REQ system to be in Halo at all anymore. Red summed things up for me perfectly.
@  UNSC Spartan-II : (17 July 2018 - 01:26 AM) @Jack Of Harts Thanks bro :yay:

Blizzard has made a few great changes to Diablo 3 over the past few days that increased the drop rate of high-end items and fixed some game-breaking bugs. Before this change, gamers like myself could spend hours trying to get rare items off of bosses in Diablo 3 only to be rewarded with low-level items worth nothing on the Auction House. With Blizzard's fix, rare items that could potentially be worth a lot of gold now have more than double the chance to drop.

Additionally, Blizzard fixed an unintended bug that was restricting anyone who bought Diablo 3 digitally from playing past Act 1 of the game. After the break, we've posted Diablo 3's most recent change log.

Items

General
  • The drop rates for high-end items (items level 61-63) have been increased for Acts III and IV of Hell difficulty and Acts I – IV of Inferno difficulty:
The new approximate drop rates are as follows:

Hell – Act III and Act IV
iLvl 61: 9% to 13.9%
iLvl 62: 1.9% to 3.45%
iLvl 63: 0% (no change)

Inferno – Act I
iLvl 61: 17.7% to 23.9%
iLvl 62: 7.9% to 12.6%
iLvl 63: 2.0% to 4.8%

Inferno – Act II
iLvl 61: 18.6% to 23.3%
iLvl 62: 12.4% to 18.6%
iLvl 63: 4.1% to 9.3%

Inferno – Act III and Act IV
iLvl 61: 24.1% to 27.1%
iLvl 62: 16.1% to 21.7%
iLvl 63: 8.0% to 16.3%

Bug Fixes

Fixed a bug with several items that would allow those items to block pathing when dropped on the ground

Bosses

General
  • Bosses are now guaranteed to drop at least 1 Rare item for players with 4 stacks of Nephalem Valor and at least 2 Rare items for players with 5 stacks of Nephalem Valor
Bug Fixes

General
  • Fixed a crash that could sometimes occur when a player was interacting with environment objects (e.g. opening chests or clicking on a lectern)
  • Fixed several additional game and service crashes

Diablo 3 new buyer restrictions partially lifted.

Act one and level cap restrictions removed.

Blizzard has removed two of the most crucial restrictions placed on people who purchase the game digitally.

According to an update on the controversial restrictions, with the release of patch patch 1.0.3a, players who buy the game via download will no longer be hit with a Level 13 cap, and will be able to play past Act One.

Those were two of the most maddening restrictions that were placed on new purchases of a digital version of the game for up to 72 hours as part of an effort to tackle credit card fraud. According to Blizzard's update, they were "unintended".

Other restrictions, such as real-money Auction House access, public game access, Global Play and more (listed below) are still in place, but players will now be able to level up to their heart's content and blast through as many acts as they like from the moment they fire up their game.
Here are the restrictions that remain in place for up to 72 hours:
  • No public game access for unverified digital purchasers
  • No auction house access (real-money or gold) for unverified digital purchasers
  • Unverified digital purchasers cannot trade items or drop items for other players to receive
  • Unverified digital purchasers are not able to chat in any public or game channels
  • Unverified digital purchasers cannot attach a custom message to friend requests, but they can send/accept friend requests, and play with their friends
  • Global Play is not available for unverified digital purchasers

Diablo 3 From A New, Gorgeous Angle.

Diablo 3 is undoubtedly a gorgeous game and thanks to YouTube user Malu05a we can now see the action role-playing game from a whole new angle. This video was made using the Diablo 3 machinima tool and shows off how much detail truly is in Blizzard's most successful PC game to date.
