I recently bought the game and was unable to join the online servers. So my question is.. As of now, the only way of playing Halo 2 online is via Project Cartographer, a community project to replace the master server listing and bring the ability to LAn game to halo 2. CrayCray Posted March 24, 2016 Author Report Share Posted March 24, 2016 Well I have the server to host this Project Cartographer if you consider 32gb of DDR3 Ram, Intel Xeon 3.6 Ghz Quad, with gigabit connection. I am just unable to find out how to actually start the server its self it's all python. So if someone can at least tell me how to get this thing configured and working I would be more than happy to host a dedicated server on le machine.
