Multiplayer not working

I cannot find a player even waiting for 20 minutes, even when queuing at the same time in different parties with my friend down the street, we still cant find any players.

I have seen many threads on this issue, both here and on the Waypoint forums. Logically, I'm thinking it's because the MCC isn't released everywhere yet - only in Australia and New Zealand (?) I think. But still, I'd imagine there would be a few thousand players.

 

In 1hour 30minutes I'm sure there will be enough players and MP will be working splendidly.

Australia is big enough that NZ and Australia players should have no problem finding a local game. Americans getting the game will not make a difference as matches are joined based off of your connection to the host. I know 6 people personally in my small town alone who have bought the game and who are all having issues finding any matches at all.

My guess is it's a matchmaking issue, that for some reason hasn't been addressed and probably won't be until the Americans discover it's not working and have it sorted out then. I've seen enough people complaining to warrant a response from Microsoft or 343 but haven't heard fock all at this point.

 

Fingers crossed the Americans matter more than the rest of the world does and 343 fixes the issue

This is actually a pretty common issue. It happened with the H3 release for like, 18 hours.

 

My advice is to play campaign first. The issue should be sorted by the time that you finish campaign.

The issue is it cant even find my friend when we both search at the same time. It is bugged.
