ZippyFudge
I've been a HUGE fan of the Halo franchise since I was a kid. And I think my most favourite game of Halo that I ever played was trench warfare from Halo: Reach. Now, I know that this wasn't a game type in matchmaking, it was a custom game. Basically, it had around 4-5 trenches and the rest of the field was an open plain. In each trench there was a zone you had to capture. Basically like dominion from halo 4 except in trenches. I don't know why, but there is something exciting and awesome about fighting in an open playing field. It really brings out the "Holy ****" factor in a shooter. So, I think this would be a great idea to have in the upcoming Halo game: Halo 5: Guardians.
Mr Biggles
I agree. We need more open field but small maps, if you understand me. Less obstacles and doorways, just a full on brawl
Russian Panda
Yup. I do miss some of the larger maps.I think it'd be cool to have a playlist for larger maps and more a "battlefield" feel with lots of vehicles n such. That way you could have your arena playlist for traditional halo then the large maps like you said (:
